15 year old jumps in front of train after being bullied by football team. They were making fun of her because 4 members of the team went gangnam style on her. They called her a slut... err. No comment.

They need to stop covering stories like this in the media.

what kloubek said earlier... since i played football in high school i know that when one person sleeps with someone on the team, shit spreads fast. now if you sleep with 4 players at the same time, youre just asking for trouble

maybe if she wasnt such a slut she wouldnt be dead... sorry but i had to say it. RIP and all but honestly go look at what people are writing about amanda todd, about how just because she commit suicide she is an idol or something. people die everyday, and people are bullied everyday.

are you there at lunch, free periods in school, and monitor and extra time before or after school, and even if class is out early or start late? kids are creative and outsmart parents. you never outsmart parents? parents always think they smarter than they parents and also their kids.

This, along with the whole Amanda Todd situation, really wasn't bullying whatsoever.

Unfortunately, this isn't new. The "It Gets Better" campaign was started as a result of a string of suicides following the Rutgers student who had his gay rendezvous streamed on the internet by his roommate. It's collateral damage of bullying and harrassment that has basically become a new part of this vicious cycle.

I disagree with those that say the media needs to stop providing coverage of these types of events because it promotes copycats. The result of someone's harrassment and bullying does need to be brought to light, and needs to educate the public that there are consequences to this kind of behaviour. Granted, she didn't exactly do much to help her situation.

We need more bullying awareness definitely but I feel that media articles like this are just exacerbating the situation. After the outpouring of support for Amanda Todd, who in IMO made a stupid decision but didn't deserve what she got, I feel that suicide is kind of being glamourized and that kids are getting the wrong impressions.

+1 How is this bullying? If everyone who was bullied, committed suicide, the better part of this forum wouldn't be on here.

Bullying isn't the issue, it's been around forever... it's weakness being accepted among society. If this is the future generation, then the world is fucked (it is anyway)

Exactly! Kids will ALWAYS bully other kids. There is nothing we as a society can do about it either.

I think the new world order are the ones that provided amanda todd with the coverage she got. This is a way to cull the herd without the new world order coming under direct fire.
