This will be a never ending cycle. The football team will now be bullied by others along with death threats spam on their facebook.

Don't know why kids these days can't deal stress very well and always choose death as solution to end their suffering. They haven't even experienced the real world yet. I wonder how the future generation will deal with recessions or job loses.

Youths have ALWAYS had a hard time dealing with adversity. Our generation did back when we were 14, and our parents generation as well. This is not a new phenomenon.

There were a few girls like that in my high school. They're all alive and well.

This may be a stretch, but I'm thinking that this girl would have eventually killed herself regardless of banging some dudes in high school. As mentioned, everybody's done stupid shit and been made fun of for it, and when you're a teenager it's fucking tough to deal with. IMO if you're capable of killing yourself over that, you would've done it later when you made a mistake at your job, or got in a car collision, or tripped on the sidewalk.

when young girls had low self esteem they would just find comfort from an older creepy guy

the only ones that would kill themselves were the ugly losers that no one really cared about, sure the week after everyone would put on a show like they cared... but deep down we all knew we didnt. it sure prevented copycats.

i dont think that is a stretch at all, fully agree with what you are trying to say here.

i do feel bad for this girl's situation even though really unless she was drugged and raped put herself into this position and should have to deal with the consequences of her choice. yeah kids and teens can be really mean but if you are strong you are strong and if you are weak you are weak she chose a way out that worked for her and if she didnt choose it now she would have sometime else in her life.

it is just shitty that this is all being glamorized now and media (both social and traditional) is making it "the cool thing to do"

I was feelign sympathetic for the whole bully thing but not it's just an excuse for emotionally unstable to cry wolf and not accept responsibility for their actions.

I'm not saying every case is like this but I blame the parents more than the bullies or the kids.
