Calgary police are investigating the discovery of young woman's body in the northeast.
They were called to the area of Country Hills Blvd. and Coventry Blvd. around 10 p.m. Thursday.
The victim, in her 20's, was found dead in a black Honda near the Canadian Pacific Railway tracks.
Police say a suspect has been taken into custody, but they are keeping tight-lipped about the man's relationship to the victim.
Officers say he did not turn himself in, and they aren't looking for any other suspects.
Detectives say they believe a series of events lead up to this incident, and homicide investigators are trying to piece things together.
Police are looking into another possible crime scene at a home in Beddington, but it is unclear how the two are connected.
An autopsy is expected to be completed Friday.
