One last thing I've been looking at. I want to use it as a backup for photos but I've been getting conflicting info so far on how to get my photos from the camera to the N7. Some say a cable works, others say it needs to be rooted first, some show a sweet ass SD usb card reader that is the size of a usb stick...since you have one and a Nikon D300, have you been able to get it to work?

I've never tried to put any photos or media on my N7 as I use it primarily for e-magazines and surfing. I would imagine, like music, you can just drag and drop photos like you can any file from the computer to the N7 but I've never tried it. All my photos are on Smugmug and there is a mobile app for that if I want to view them, but I do not use it directly as a storage/backup device. I'd be surprised if you had to root it to put a photo on it.

Anyone else getting an error message when trying to view the Nexus 4 page on google play? I check it like 100 times a day and this is the first I've seen it fail.

Thats because the 'merican's are fisting the google servers with F5 madness.

Dont expect to see any canadian sales until the next couple of days. I think they have learned that a north american release is too much for there infrastructure so they are staggering the releases.

I get an error when I try to go to the 8gb N4. The 16gb works fine for me, still says Sold Out.

If you get a USB OTG cable, you can plug things into the Nexus 7/Galaxy Nexus such as usb sticks. Then you can move files between them very easily, just using a file manager.

Anyone check out the bumper case yet? The N4 bumper case looks awesome, and totally not what I was expecting. I assumed it was just a $20 silicon ring, but that is not the case:

If you are in the US, and can add this to the cart, just hammer the proceed button and it will eventually process your order. I'm still pissed that there is no stock available for Canadians. $450+ for an 8GB seems insane.

Just checked out the Google Play store to see if I could order a Nexus 4 but after clicking proceed going through the checkout process it wont let me ship the phone to Canada.

Doesn't seem to be any lag or errors on the site that you guys are mentioning though.

I have notipage running to notify me if it changes to "in stock" but it's been giving me a error saying that the site is responding but there is an error. Guess google caught on

Ha ya...no one did. But the 'Mericans did for this second round. One can only hope we will too.

The sign up used to be on the product page. So..perhaps if you can't sign up anymore then refreshing isn't a bad idea!
