    SNES.

Also, I bought a 32 inch tube tv second hand from a previous renter, that thing is awesome for the old consoles, no issues aside from its weight!

I can't speak to anything newer ie circa 2002- onward

Heh these are the only things that come to my mind at the moment:

    Portable CD player from Panasonic.

Another thing I can remember is buying a 2x HP CD Burner. Only took 30 minutes, instead of an hour to burn a full CD!

    Edit:
    Almost forgot the Sega Dreamcast!

Panasonic 30" HDTV. It was $1000 with the stand.

    I think that's it.

My first Sony boombox has been in the garage for even more than 10 years. Just going strong and subject to all kinds of temp swings.

I think I had a Sony Shockwave CD player that probably got tossed at some point.

Ah yes, I've bought several MD players including a bookshelf MD player/stereo unit. Too bad I only used each for like a year and they've just sat on their shelves since.

What I have bought 10+ years ago and still use today is my trusty graphing calculator. Casio CFX-9850GB Plus, not the usual TI-83 piece of junk that dies after a few years... One of the first "colour" calculators of its time, baby! Bought it in '99 and it's still going strong.

I still use this beast today 'cause I can see multiple lines of text on the screen vs. just my last input. Yeah, I'm a geek...

Only thing I can think of is an old digital alarm clock. The thing must be from the 90s or 80s. Just realized it used to have a wired phone attached to it, that I must have lost. Actually curious... anyone have any idea how old this thing is?

Ten years ago? Still have a telephone I bought probably 20+ years ago, still use it because it works when the power goes out and because it's corded, you always know where it is - doesn't magically disappear like today's handhelds.
    Will fuck off, again.

I'm still using my 10 year old Altec Lansing 5.1 surround sound for my computer. My computer has evolved constantly, but the speakers have stood the test of time.

Speakers are one of the few pieces of "tech" that can withstand the trials of time.

Scary to think how often the rest of the shit gets replaced by being obsolete or failure.

Sony Minidisc players were cool, although I felt so outdated still using them 7 years ago.

I sold my last Minidisc player here on Beyond 6 years ago haha.

Microsoft XBox (2002) is what I still use today. I also have a High Speed 1 GB PRO DUO Memory stick for my Sony Camera I use. It cost over $300 when I bought it for my PSP

Off-topic; it's strange but iPhone's only been available since 2007, but it seems like it's been around longer (probably since it grew to be so popular so quick).

Some of my Transformers are electronic.

Also the subwoofer in my car is a Rockford Fosgate HE2 12 inch which I bought in 2001. Still going as strong as the day I bought it. I'd still have the amplifier too if I didn't get drunk and reverse the polarity. And set my car on fire.

    I was gonna say, lol.

I've still got a 16 year old JVC boombox that has been through hell and back during my seismic years. CD player doesn't work anymore, but I use it in the garage for my iPod/phone.

Our Sony 5.1 home theatre in a box is still kicking around in the basement, i fucking hate the thing though. DVD player doesn't work, and too much bass puts it in "protect" mode, so i have to reset it during a movie (played through Xbox).

They're certainly big, but I don't know if they are the BEST I've tasted.
