Universal oil filter wrench that isn't a piece of shit?

Yes, they are very good.

I have a cap wrench for Toyotas with cartridge filters, but the "claw" is all I use for anything off make (works on cartridges too) or Toyotas with canister filters.

I've got one like that, but mine has little points on the claws to help grip. the one I've got is the best filter wrench I have.

Princess Auto has em for 7 or 8.

^ works wonders. I bought the kit from Mac with various adaptors and havent used them since getting one of these.

Pretty much what I was gonna say. I've never used a filter wrench that really worked so I generally just end up jamming a screwdriver through it. Be ready with a catch can though, or she'll make a mess.
