Anyone know if they still intend to do the crowchild& kensington change? or was that dropped for current plans?

There is like a 10 year plan for north of the river including multiple levels.
We are just through part one of the fuckery.

The exit from 5th Ave onto eastbound Memorial is something they seriously should consider fixing. The mad panic to cut in while making a corner is such a gong show.

It's worse for the next year while the middle lane is closed... lolThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Have they completed the work by the Stadium as well? Haven't driven it in a few weeks as it was an annoying pinch point during rush hour.

That's not even close to being done.
I think the sign said something about Fall 2021 as I drove by the other day. Here is the city's website on it.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Meteorological fall just started this week, so they've got three months
Thanks for sharing, i had no idea that project was that big. 4 through lanes on Crowchild NB will be great when all said and done. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Not going to improve the group that's trying to go 40kph fighting the group trying to go 140kphThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I can't remember the last time i successfully made it to 80 km/h before University Station, so frustrating when there is literally just open road ahead for as far as the eye can see. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
So glad I moved out of Royal Oak this year. Crowchild itself isn't terrible, especially now that the bridge is done. But the drivers you have to share Crowchild with? Fucking awful slow ass oblivious karens.
The average speed is easily 90-100 with an 80 limit. I don’t see how you could describe the NW leg of Crowchild as slow. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
The exception this year is the 50 limit in the area they’re paving. And anything SE of u of c.

... and the acceleration away from 24th, but once you hit Brentwood usually flow is pretty good, and the new tarmac after Dalhousie is so nice. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Usually its 3 lanes wide of 75kph until Nose hill and then they fuck off and you can go fast.
I dunno what Crowchild you're on haha. I've never had a problem going over 80 even during rush hour. Exception is Sunday, that's when the slow ass drivers come out. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Maybe whatever youre driving has better rear view mirror presence and people move over. I've never had to pass on the right as much as my commute home every day for the last 8 years lol
You haven't truly lived until you've passed a Karen driving her Land Rover SUV doing 50kph Crowchild in the middle lane, her knuckles white from gripping the steering wheel.
My favorite part of crowchild is the green light camera at 24th. I don't even know if have ever made a green light there before.
The issue with 24th is they did the bike path already so it now pinches one lane past that church so then with the construction, anyone going left or straight has to wait behind the hoardes going to crowchild. Was a yield when I drove last friday as the outlet lanes on crowchild were closed so it was quite a nightmare.
I can't believe you would post such a statement on here......she would be in the left lane. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
My one dream is that they fix that bump southbound by brentwood as on low profile tires it is quite jarring.
