Default How to maintain quads during winter ?

Wondering how the rest of you get the ice and such off. My brakes are coated in ice so neither work and there's lots of frozen parts. Without a heated garage what's the best solution ?

When winter camping I put a cover over them with 2 1500w heaters in the footwells to melt everything out. After about 20 mins everything is at least movable and just wipe as much water off as you can and giver. Just make sure the heaters are not melting anything.

Works pretty well for what it was worth, but now the machines sit pretty in the garage or enclosed trailer for the winter.

Are there no outlets in the garage? I have a small 1500w/900w heater that I've been running in mine. Keeps it around 10°C this week.

Just put a tarp over the box of the truck with a small heater in it.

    I'd aim for around 1000W
