Default 12V Heavy Duty Air Compressor (for offroading). Any local sources?

    Hey guys,

I'm planning on attending more offroading runs with you guys in the future. After the easy McLean run last month, I've realized that my next accessory should be a decent 12V air compressor.

I'm running 31" tires and I would like something heavy duty with a good duty cycle such that I can bring my tires up from 15 psi to 30 without having to wait for it to cool down.

Right now I am leaning towards a Viair 85P that can be bought on eBay for <$100. Specs look good, but just thought I'd ask for recommendations incase there are local sources that I can check out. Thoughts?

    Thanks!

Stan at Northridge4x4 is the best bet. I think he carries both the ARB and VIAIR compressors.

I bought a TJM air compressor from the Gear shop (local, in the NE). To air up my tires (36x13.5x15) from 10psi to 25psi it takes 4 minutes.

And they ship right to your door so there's no messing around. I've ordered a few different Jeep things from there and they always show up super fast.
