Renting a car on a temporary license

I forgot that my license expired today and I need to rent a car tomorrow. I'll get it renewed tomorrow, does anyone know if I am going to have issues having one of those paper temporary license slip?

Bring in your passport or any govt Id with your photo. It's really up to the staff if they are strict about it or not.

My bet is, you'll probably need that renewed license!

Go renew your licence, ask the staff to make a copy of it before they shred it. Take the copy, temp licence and your passport and you should be fine.
