Based on a discussion in that other thread, I broke out the stopwatch for my coffee this morning.

No prep, all tools and supplies put away in pantry.
My kettle boils in about three minutes. It takes me 3:10 to scoop and ring my beans in my hario slim mill.
My inverted aeropress method is around 4 minutes.

Total time, 7:42 from walking into the kitchen to coffee in cup.

Not bad. Certainly slower than @vengie in the McDs drive-thru, but quite reasonable. @ercchry . @JRSC00LUDE

2nd cup took 6:37. I guess the stuff was already out, and I was partially caffeinated, that's probably the difference.

I'm a field guy, I grew up in the field.
I would get coffee from every small butt fuck nowhere gas station to survive the 2am field call outs.
Needless to say, I am all about convenience, caffeine and don't really care where it comes from.

I admire people who take the time to make fancy coffee, but I don't admire coffee snobs.

We all like coffee, drink it, love it, enjoy it. (aka Live, Laugh, Love).
