Fibre Optic strands/rods

Does anyone know a cheap source to get these locally, or even within Canada?

I found a site in the US that sells 3' strands for about $5 but the shipping is a deal breaker. Anything like that in Canada?

I'm looking for 1.5mm coloured ones if that matters.
