    Default Fernie snowboarding trip

I posted this question in the ski/snowboard thread but it got looked over and didn't get any replies. I'm planning to take a trip to Fernie on December 7-9. Depending on how many people come, I'll either rent a cabin or a suite. Anyone have any recommendations on good places to look at? Preferably ski-out.

I've rented this place a few times in the past... it's just after the bridge coming into Fernie from Calgary so not ski in/out but a nice place none the less... Has (or had) a person who takes care if it living in the walk out basement suite when we rented it but the guy was laid back.

Have you looked at the places on http://highcountryproperties.com at all?

I've stayed at the Corner Stone a couple times. It's not super fancy but not bad either and the location is awesome.

I'm only going for 2 nights and some of these places require a minimum of 3. Thx for the links so far though, guys.

It'll be all of our first time there so we're all stoked for it.

If you haven't already booked id go elsewhere, its pretty early for fernie. Kicking horse would proabaly be a better bet this early if you're looking for ski in/out lodging. Kicking horse is pretty much the same distance from calgary. Fernie might be good up top but half way down you could literally be riding in rain. just check their mountain cams and snow reports before you book. Both places are know for dumps so you never know

if they do have a 3 day policy just book it anyways and split it up, it will be worth it if you have a big group.

Are you guys all students on a budget or something?

My lunch tab is that much for two people.
