Starts at 11am, servers will be hammered though so it might take a bit to update. If you use the steam app though it will alert you with the sale and also if wishlist games are on sale!

Spent an hour last night playing multiplayer Blood with a buddy, then spent some time on Dungeon Keeper. Will probably throw the Quest series' on the HTPC and play with my wife. Good times.

Yes. I haven't played the 2nd DLC but the pirate one is pretty good. I got the season pass. Have you played BL1? If not, get it as well and play them both.

Also, this sale sucks. I was expecting an event like last year. Ah well.

The sale will be several days long. I suspect that it will be only getting better as we get closer to Christmas.

It's true, closer to christmas the more the big games go on sale.

I think Skyrim went onto a huge sale last year like a day or two before Christmas.

I'm sure the sales will, yes, but last year was an interactive event with the achievements and coal and stuff. It forced you to play games you otherwise wouldn't in order to have a chance at winning stuff. I had a blast.

This year is a just a sale, with a badge for voting on which games go on sale. It's a disappointment. It's just like any other Steam sale.

Well so far this sale has been pretty horrible. Everything is cheaper elsewhere and the daily sales are just random games

This certainly isnt one of their better sales... I did get Dishonored, Borderlands 2, and Hitman for 50% off though. If Far Cry 3 goes on sale for 50% off ill be happy.

See everywhere else had hitman for like $20 like amazon and GMG. Still waiting for Far cry though also, I would be happy with 20% off since it is new. Uplay has it for 25% off but it is 59/69 instead of 49/59 like everywhere else.

It's the season where I dive into a computer game obsessively for the next 72 hours. I wanted to get a game like Railroad Tycoon but apparently it can only run on older Windows.

I was hoping to play Cities XL, but my video card isn't cool enough.

Any recommendations?
