All schools should be armed with rocket-launchers in order to deter people with guns. When the mass killings start taking place with rocket-launchers, schools must be armed with chemical weapons. And so on. Or just take away all weapons that can kill somebody from a distance and make the cry-babies go sit in the corner.

While I will agree that the USA needs to seriously look at the gun ownership situation, it won't be that easy to find a solution and certainly it can't come soon enough - add two firefighters to the list that won't be there tomorrow morning with their families.

I actually DO like how the swiss do it.

Wanna own a gun? 100 day MANDATORY military service, then 3 weeks a year refresher.

Guns require resepct and dicpline. Something most American gun owners OBVIOUSLY lack.

Everyone used to have bows and arrows back when.

They were only ever used for hunting, no human ever died from an arrow shot in anger.

RPG's are meant more for taking down armored vehicles, if you want to take out a whole block or city, you need a portable tactical nuke. Everyone should have their own portable tactical nuke, just be careful not to drop it

Some nut I accidentally friended on facebook claims that the cause of these shootings is the lack of religion in schools these days.

I pointed out to her the only real difference between Canada and the US is gun control laws (and population).

She stated criminals are criminals because they don't follow the laws, I asked what would make them more likely to follow commandments if they don't follow the law? She didn't answer.
