Stolen: 250 Kawasaki Ninja

Yeah Shitty way to start the new years.

This bright blue 250 ninja was stolen this morning at about 1:30am from the area of Heritage and Elbow dr.
It's completely stock
No plate attached
Has a u-bolt Bike lock on the front wheel/shocks. (suggesting the bike was moved in a truck)

Call 911? I don't think the 911 people would be too impressed unless one could prove that the motorbike was in the company of the people who stole it which given the circumstances - none of us would be able to make that determination. The non-emergency CPS number at 403-266-1234 would be the one we should be calling as best as I can determine from the city's 911 and non-emergency info on the web.

Never the less, this bike probably isn't going to be in Calgary for long or even left in one whole piece - certainly it's not out in the open anywhere right now and if it is, it's probably tarped/covered. Hope you had theft insurance.

actually 911 is pretty tolerant to reports to possession of stolen property.
and youre making assumption to the motivation of the theft. both of which aren't much help right now thanks.

how was it stolen? did they just grab it off your driveway?

friends driveway, and pretty much.
front wheel was locked so were assuming a couple guys lifted the bike right into the back of a truck.
