Cool shots Erik, I love using flash while it is snowing!
thats 35mm right?
did you develop the film yourself or lab?
will post some delta400 this evening once done scanning however I personally like delta400 more for landscape/portrait due to softer grain and contrast than HP5+
currently developing mine 1+4 with d-76 for 20min and 20min ilford fixer
in 120 film though I can barely tell the difference between HP5+ and delta
btw great b&w landscape shots, that's my project for the next couple of months
I'm stoked to try some Tri-X! Also splurged and picked up an Epson V700 Hahaha. The boat anchor should be here today.

awesome!
let me know its max usable dpi, the v600 3200 is pushing it hence why ive been thinking of going v700/750 too someday.
btw where are you getting your velvia developed?
I like it, Kelly. Noticed a slight purple tint however unless intentional.
No idea, kind of didn't think that through Probably talk to TCS, London Drugs or Vistek and see where they send it or if it can be done in-house.Originally posted by taemo

kelly great nightscape shot, those are some great bokeh stars!
^LD is the only place I know for sure that still do 35mm slides but it can take 1-2 weeks, Saneal apparently too but I keep forgetting on calling them.
I want to shoot 120 slides but I'm too lazy to mail them to Vancouver haha
B&W I'll probably develop at home. Honestly don't see me shooting a lot of colour. Kenneth gave me his Paterson developing tank and it works with both 120 and 35mm and for me, is much easier to load. Well, the 35mm is anyways.
I also see you commented and know about this
If you have stuff you want to test on the V700, just bring it over with a USB.

^paterson tank is much much better than the steel one, makes loading film a breeze.
yeah that video really helped me, 120 is a lot easier to remove from the canister but PITA to load into the reel lol.
keep me posted with the v700, just awesome how you can scan 24 35mm at once or I think 6 6x7
cant wait to see your first 6x7 pics and your reaction, package just left Atlanta tonight.
some delta 400, dont like using 35mm for landscape but for portraits it works well

It was actually done with the 14/2.5. The 14 and the 25 have great stars.Originally posted by taemo

Yep 35mm, developed at home in a Kindermann tank with a plastic film apron. Tri-X/HP5 load nice in an steel spool, but Delta gave me troubles. I agree with it being good for landscapes.Originally posted by taemo

You're getting good results for portraits with it too.
I like Tri-X tone and contrast, works well for portraits and loads easy in a spool. You'll be happy with the results I'm sure.Originally posted by msommers
