    Banana sweaters fit me

Their dress shirts look like they are designed for fat men.

the shoulders and sleves fit just the damn gut is huge.

For me i have to get all dress shirts made for me unfortunately, i have yet to find a shirt off the rack that fits me perfect.

Pants i go to Tristan or RWCO

I like their slim fitting pants.

Banana Republic pants make me look fat

Mark's have some good no-iron dressy-er type stuff too. Like fuck if I'm ever gonna iron a shirt lol I find the quality and prices to be pretty good.

Never really liked express because I find their shirts stiff and papery.
I thought Mexx only had semi slim fit? I haven't been to Mexx for a while now so I don't know.

I think the best thing you can do is by a shirt at the Bay or someplace else that you like and find a good tailor you trust (lots of recommendations on Beyond if you search) to tidy it up for you. The sleeves, anybody can do - tapering the sides is a bit more tricky.

Whenever I buy a shirt, the sleeves are always too long and the sides needs to be taken in. I just build it into the cost of every shirt I buy. I wear a lot of suits, so if my sleeves are too long or the sides are too baggy, I think it looks sloppy.

I think a good tailor is worth their weight in gold and can make a $30 shirt look like a much more expensive shirt.

Brooks Brothers has an "Extra Slim" that's pretty good for an off-rack shirt (98/each), and they carry a whole range of sizes for those extra skinny gangly bastards out there (like myself).

The best fitting rack shirt i've found is ETON, carried at Henry Singer and probably a few other places. Their slim fits are perfect, but...they kind of hurt the wallet.

Surprised No one has mentioned Zara in Chinook. They have sales and you can pick up fitted shirts in the $40-$70 range. Also fitted pants that are tailored as if they were custom made for me. It might be $15 more than BR but it fits like a glove, making me look and feel great.

Mexx has some slim shirts but most of the shirts are semi slim.

You can find some pretty good deals at Mexx if you wait for their sales. Last week, it was an extra 25% on all clearance items.

Calvin Klein in cross irons has some pretty wicked deals. The slim fit shirts for me well.

I score a good shirt once in awhile at winners. The brand "Geoffrey Beene" slim fit fits me the best out of any non tailored shirt I have ever owned.
