Awesome way to encourage people to redline it all the time, and therefore require more dealership maintenance

They're certainly big, but I don't know if they are the BEST I've tasted.

    HAHAHA

It goes into VIPER MODE at 6000rpm!! Me and my brother just watched this a good 5 times over and think it's amazing. I guess it would function sort of as a shift light indicator? If you see the snake, you should think about shifting soon.

"This is a pre-production car", but this will probably only have an affect the engine and not the exterior.

I wonder if the person who approves this car internally knows about other major cars in the world? And if they're aware that the designer lacks talent because they just ripped off Ferrari, Corvette, and Aston Martin on some main visual parts of the car. I respected the Viper, before this new model, as a complete package that had performance and unique trademark looks -- it was nice threat (not treat, threat to other major cars in it's class). I like that they've brought back the curviness of the original Viper, but even if this is the best Viper ever, it's a shame they couldn't do it justice with a better job of moderinize the trademark styling while staying unique.

I think all fast revving cars should have a shift indicator. This is an awesome way to do it.

As far as the styling goes, when the Viper first came out there was nothing else on the road that looked like it. I think the styling is still very Viper-esque. Yes there are some similarities to other cars but you could also argue that Ferrari has been copying the Vette lately. The C7 vette will look Ferrari-ish because the newer Ferraris have been taking styling cues from the C6 Vette.

Is this the C7 Vette? Nope. It's Ferrari ripping off a vette back in 2010. Ferrari 599 SA Aperta.

Maybe it's just me but I completely fail to see how the 599 looks like a C6. Oh, wait, I see it now.. It's got 4 wheels and 2 doors. Holy shit you're right!

Yeah the display on my C63 glows red when you approach redline in manual mode. Kind of caught me off guard the first time. Too bad shifts take forever when the engine is spinning that fast ahahaha.

I've heard this C6 Vette/Ferrari argument plenty of times and I too still fail to see what the fuss is all about? Maybe I'm missing something.

The mustangs have been doing this since the 2010 models. It really is one of the few things that I actually like about mine.

That is pretty slick! I think I much prefer that to what the Viper does. In honesty I think it looks a little bit tacky to have the snake appear.

I still love the steering where lights. The new M wheel looks awesome
