    Default Recommend a GOOD roofer?

I need some help here. I'm looking for an experienced and professional roofing company. And don't just name a buddy you know just because

Here's the issue. I bought a house with a flat roof, constructed 2011. This time last year, a leak developed and I developed some water damage in one area. Builder came back, identified an incorrectly installed vent on the roof, got the roofer in to repair it, but it leaked again, they fixed it again...and wouldn't ya know it, another freeze thaw cycle has gotten it leaking again. This time, another part of the house has gotten some water damage. Keep in mind that every damn time the roofing company comes, it's a total shitshow trying to actually get them to show up. I've heard every excuse out there....oh we went to the wrong address, oh our truck broke down, another job kept us busy, blah blah blah....I'm pissed.

Can anyone recommend a roofer that knows their trade inside out AND has the decency to keep their appointments? Thanks.

If you find a good roofer, let me know. Ive made appointments with 3 different ones that came highly recomended to me and they can find every excuse under the sun to miss the date, and reschedule. its been 6 months and Ive given up. all 3 the exact same thing...

"Good" and "roofer" don't belong in the same sentence.

Big 5 has been in business since 1986. Call and ask for either Al or Derek.

    Big5 does roofs?

United? Ug. They re-did a roof in my area, they didn't use flashing, rather they staggered the shingles. A huge no-no.

I used Done Right, they managed to put in a leak. They've fixed it and will also fix the ceiling but no way would I recommend them now.

There's a difference. You're all talking shingled roofs. His is flat roofed. Most that do shingles, don't do flat roofs.

Can you not fix this yourself? Retar the spots that are leaking and throw some gravel on there for UV protection?

Don't know if they'll do flat roofs, but I understand "Sunik Roofing" are really top notch!

I went with roof hospital. guys showed up on schedule, did a fantastic job on my roof. They have a lot of different products available, and the sales guy was really good at answering all my questions and concerns.
