    Default Protein Shake Thread

    What is your favorite protein shake? The water and protein is always easy but I figured this thread could give us some new ideas.

    One of my new favorites especially after morning workouts
    Vanilla protein powder
    Almond or Skim milk (which ever I have)
    Starbucks Tazo Chai mix to taste
    few ice cubes and blend

    Tastes like an iced chai tea latte and I find the hit of caffeine helps me get going in the morning.

    Water
    Shake.

    I'm not about to turn my protein supp into a designer drink...but maybe that's just me.

    - Kaizen vanilla ice cream protein powder (1 scoop)

    -handful of frozen Safeway berries

    - 1 tsp creatine

    - 1 tsp bee pollen

    - 1 cup of orange juice

    - 1 cup of pineapple juice

    - 1 cup of 1% milk

    - 1 banana

    1 - 1.5 cups of pasteurized liquid egg whites
    1 scoop protein (of your desired flavour)
    Shake just enough, enjoy!

    I lose shakers after like 5 uses usually so lots of the time I'll just put a scoop in my mouth and chase it with water. I don't have time for those gay drinks, I think it's just a way to make the skinny fats feel like they're really accomplishing something.

    This one tastes amazing:

    - President's choice frozen mixed berries (blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, blackberries). They sell them in a 2KG bag. You can use any berries you want though.

    - OIKOS low fat (I think 1 or 2%) Vanilla greek yougurt

    - Zoola Acai Pomegranite juice

    - 2 scoops of Whey Gourmet Naturelle Pomegranite blueberry protein powder (this stuff is so good I can eat it straight no problem, and has no fake sweeteners).

    - Bit of water

    I've never tasted a smoothie of any kind I like better than this one ANYWHERE, not even at Jugo or Booster juice. Ice isn't necessary because of the frozen berries, and it will be nice and thick.

    ON Serious Mass (love this stuff and the ON brand, Amazing)

    1 Scoop of protein
    1 banana
    1 cup of frozen berries
    water

    Other breakfast shakes that i like without having to add any protein powder are

    half cup of frozen peach
    half cup of frozen mango
    1 banana
    2 hand fulls of spinach
    add water - liquify.

    What kind of birdhouse can you build with popsicles, roofies, and a rubber mallet?

    I like to have my protein shake right after the gym or before I leave for work, so quickly mix water and powder, such fancy drinks......

    1-2 tbsp of natural peanut butter
    2 scoops of kaizen
    handful of ice cubes.

    It takes me maybe an extra ~30 seconds to make a "designer drink." Time well spent to drink something that doesn't taste like concrete mix.

    im the half of the other people that just mixes protein with water....

    I actually like the way it taste?

    Coming from someone that just drinks water all day though.

    Nutri bullet is the bomb for blending properly.

    Big handful of frozen fresh spinach
    protein
    half a banana
    Tbsp of natural peanut butter
    1/4 cup blueberries
    unsweetened choc almond milk
    Heaven.

    Post workout shake:

    1 cup mixed berries
    3 scoops strawberry protein whey
    0.75 cup orange juice
    1 cup water
    1/3 cup mixed oats
    1 tbsp metamucil.

    80g+ protein. Doesn't taste too bad either.

    I don't supplement for taste...I supplement for nutrition. I don't find my ON Chocolate half bad either...I just gulp it down anyways.

    I figure your drink is around 700 calories with ~50g of sugar. If your diet calls for those types of macros then fair enough, but even then I'd personally be seeking my calories through other foods (Veg, Fish, Eggs, Meat) and trying to limit my sugar uptake.

    It all boils down to your goals and macros though so maybe it works for you.
