Selling an electronic controller that was on my 2012 VW Jetta 2.0L. Reason for selling is I'm selling the vehicle, and the part is roughly only 6mths old and has worked perfectly since new. Im actually trying to find one for my replacement vehicle, as these are a great product!
Specs/info as follows (from another manufacturer but the same product:
What is a throttle controller?
Most newer cars have replaced the manual throttle cable with an electronic version (ECM) that translates how hard the pedal is pushed into an electronic signal in order
to provide power to the wheel. Unfortunately, this has the side effect of subdued acceleration, causing problems in situations where you need quick power response. This part helps to overcome the power response delay by giving you complete control over this feature of your $15,000+ vehicle!
Results:
· At low revs, the engine responds at approximately half the time in comparison to before.
· The delay time whilst accelerating in 3rd and 4th gear and the engine in the mid-range, is almost zero.
· Big differences in the higher rev range.
· Improved response for downshifts and safer overtaking.
· Overall safety and more fun on the road! Frequently Asked Questions
