HQ SPEC Engineering (EPCM)

Was chatting with some friends about small EPCM firms, a name of special interest that came up was HQ SPEC Engineering.

Previously known as SPEC Engineering, it was apparently bought up by HQCEC - China HuanQi Contracting/Engineering (read China National Petro Corp) in Sept 2012 and hence now called HQ SPEC.

Anybody know more info on this company or have experience working with them? Very curious to know what their story and history is especially with PetroChina involved.

When I was in SAIT, my project partner's uncle was from SPEC. He gave us a PLC project to use for our project. Turns out he's the president. Real good guy, friendly and helpful.

Their website is pretty self-explanatory...not sure what else I can tell you!
