yeah it alternates one year treyarch one year IW, it's funny how a couple years ago i would avoid the trayarch series because they were crap, until IW split, now they're the crap one and i have had to lower my standards to accept treyarch because IW is shit now.

It's all copy-pasta at the heart of the game anyway. The underwater and space missions were a neat addition, but at the core the games are pretty similar across the board.

I still have it on my ps3, and it's actually better to play on ps3, i have no idea why I prefer it.....at any rate, it's the same game over and over , i feel the same way with battlefield 4, i actually prefer playing battlefield 3 because its not missing textures and rendering things half way into a game...its all the same. I'm hoping titanfall is real good for xbox

Any cell phone headset should work afaik. But who knows, Apple probably have some proprietary connector or something that is not a standard 3.5mm jack.

Finally got a chance to hook up my console. I have to say, I quite enjoy the new OS. I never cared much for the PS3 XMB, but this one is very easy to like and navigate, I find. Had a bit of a chance to play some AC4, briefly, and really enjoyed it. I think it definitely feels like a visually upgraded version of previous gen builds, and I find that it's mostly character models that give me that impression, but the world is absolutely gorgeous. Found myself trying to spend as much time on or near water as possible. Had a giant swell ruin my targeting on a ship right before I was about to fire the canons as well. Whatever they've done to simulate the open water, is fantastic.

Trine 2 was the other thing that caught my attention yesterday, and I ended up purchasing it. I know, it's been around for a year or two now, but I never actually purchased it anywhere else before. I don't regret it one bit! The touchpad controls feel great in the game, and it looks beautiful! The tipping point for me with purchasing Trine 2, was when I read somewhere that 1) It has great 3D TV support. and 2) Enjoyable local coop play. I have not yet played the game in 2D and the 3D adds a LOT to an already beautiful platformer. Overall, thoroughly enjoyed my experience with it. Never had I been excited for 3D in games, but this really was a nice surprise.

Two buddies and I played Trine 2 during Extra-Life this year and it was the surprise hit of the day. It was the only game we ended up beating, great fun with friends.

got some COD in last night, was a pretty good experience, just playing campaign, console has been fine, it did freeze one time while being put in to sleep mode, pulled the plug and it was fine after that, cod is the same old same old but that's ok, i am enjoying the campaign, i am playing hardened right now, and i gotta say it's pretty easy, will try the top level (legandary?) after i beat it on hardened.

I had no idea, Mibz! I know I had seen it been reviewed fairly well before, and others I've talked to really enjoyed the first one, but I'm definitely all about this game as a decent platformer. Definitely nice to finally put the 3D on my tv to some use! Haha.

Thaco, I have heard a lot of mixed feedback about COD. I have the game, but have yet to play it. Hoping for a decent experience with it myself.
