Why do you think the X1 is gigantic, cooling. The parts are all similar to the ps4 while the ps4 does not have a power brick yet it is like 3x the size

That's based on total amount shipped. I'm referring to the hundred or thousand that people have compared to how many have failed. We will know tomorrow how bad it is.

I don't know how slow servers will be tomorrow. Post how long it takes if you do the update through the system. Decided to skip midnight launch because I won't have time to play it anyways. A couple of people were lined up at 6pm when I did my BF4 upgrade.

not me i'm just realistic, i'm not getting ps4

xbone is what i'm getting, i've been with 360 since launch i understand we will be getting a system that hasn't been tested on a huge scale so there will be issues and it doesn't bother me as long as they get fixed and MS did a good job with the 360 fixing it. ideally there would be no issues but that's not how the world is. i also have a ps3 so i'm no fan boy, just a gamer.

Walmart has 1 year PSN+ for $17.99 right now. Apparently only the blue ones scan at that price and maybe yellow. Just picked a couple of them up.

im pretty sure the update link that beecue provided is for the full install (like it says, for example, when you replace the hard drive) not the 1.50 update

full install needs 1gb free on usb stick (around 800mb i think)
the update needs only 400mb free (around 300mb)

I have friends who have about 5-7 of the consoles ordered, and one of them has had TONS of emails from kijiji on that 600 - 650 range price. I swear, parents go to outrageous lengths to please their spoiled children these days. More money than brains, that's for sure.

I managed to pick one up at the Shawnessy Walmart. I did not pre-order, get the stupid number in advance, or even line up for that long. I showed up shortly after midnight and lined up for less than 30 mins and managed to get one. LOL!
