Default Warning: Avoid CanaFlora.ca When Ordering Flowers Online

Just thought I'd give everyone the heads up that CanaFlora.ca (also called Chinook Florists) are not a reliable business to order from.

    TL;DR:

+ Ordered flowers for friend for next day morning delivery, paid extra for this service as we were going to be out of the office in the afternoon.

+ Flowers came at 1:34pm and delivered to the neighbour (we were out of office).

+ I arranged an emergency delivery to the restaurant we were at last-minute from Blue Hydranga in Inglewood (they hooked me up, by the way!).

+ Customer support from Canaflora totally non-existent. Call centre based in India. They told me they delivered in the AM, won't listen to my insistence that they didn't.

With valentines day around the corner people will start shopping for flowers and all that. Avoid this company like the plague and use one of the other options out there that will do what they say and give a shit about you when you call in.

They're certainly big, but I don't know if they are the BEST I've tasted.

Bloomex has worked well for me in the past. I normally just call florists directly (support local businesses and all that) but didn't last time.

    Won't make that mistake again.

So Canaflora.ca let me know that they are going to refund the $8 I paid for guaranteed AM delivery.

Chinook Florist is not a full service flower shop. They have a small warehouse where they process advance outbound orders only.

Not sure why you guys still order flowers when most of the time you can just walk across the street and rip them out of someone's garden.

Considering time of year, that might prove to be difficult...

Thank god I googled it before hand. Saw a post on redflagdeals to avoid like the plague. It just seems convenient when its 10pm at night, you're on the computer and you realized you need flowers. But ya, customer service at a real florist is usually top notch.

I order from Canadaflowers.ca. Used them all the time even when I was out of the country for 5 weeks I used to them to give flowers to wifey. They normally follow your instructions and on time

Well fuck, I ordered like two weeks ago for these guys, hopefully they get delivered.

Shit, learned my lesson I guess.

Going to start looking at backups now

EDIT: they do refunds let's see how deep the rabbit hole goes
