Been sort of trying to hunt one down lately. They have a white one at Richmond Mercedes but it's for viewing only and they won't sell it.Originally posted by atgilchrist
Went to the Kelowna Mercedes cLA launch party, and they had the AMG - nice looking car. The show model was a Vancouver customer car to be delivered in December. They told me they didn't expect to see another for months.
Don't want to wait for the 2015s hah
Purchase order? Yes. I need to get a hold of my dealer, he has not replied to any of my emails or my phone messages within the last week.... O well.Originally posted by benyl
Do you have a confirmed PO?
If so, ask for a build slot number.
Yeah, they are pretty busy. Plus, your car is so far away that it isn't a priority. Mine is fucking stuck in Halifax at the VPC and isn't getting on a train for some reason.

Is it spoken for? Weird that they won't sell it.Originally posted by RX_EVOLV

"Thanks for your prompt reply! This vehicle is currently not for sale, it may become available in the future, however, it’s a showroom vehicle at the moment....
From what I can see, all incoming models within the Vancouver Retail Group, have already been reserved and/or purchased by other customers. I recommend that you visit your local dealership to discuss your enquiry on the CLA and possibly put down a deposit to be on their waiting list."
Their rationale is for exposure because someone will want it once it's available.Originally posted by RX_EVOLV

Yeh I totally understand their reasons and intentions. I was a bit excited because my friend was in Richmond Mercedes 2 weeks ago confirming the arrival of his new E63 AMG (lucky guy!) and the salesman said they have a black CLA45 available for immediate purchase and delivery. I was hoping they would still have it. The one they have on display is a white CLA45.Originally posted by flipstah

When was this?
Heard from other forums that there is a shortage of 19" wheels and AMG drivers package across the USA and UK. This is not looking good for my car. Still no production slot. I think I am hooped.
Starting to think of options... Maybe slightly used C63 sedan.....
The same thing happened with my parents. Lonestar said they wouldn't see their CLA till January 2015. They ended up with a red on red 2013' C63 that was sitting in the showroom.

If you're looking for a used C63 sedan, my old car is sitting at 5th Ave VW. They took the vinyl wrap off so the paint looks brand spankin' new. Car has the latest Eurocharged tune putting out 500hp, as well as video in motion, and car starter integrated into the factory key fob.

For some reason my dealer is leading me on to believe I have a shot at getting a CLA45 this year... Ridiculous. Thanks for the info Spacers.Originally posted by spacerz

Also Rage2 thanks I will take a look into that.
That's crazy for waiting that long.
My old C63 with the complete clear wrap is sitting at Lonestar with the same tune and half the miles. It had 45,500 when I dropped it off.Originally posted by rage2
