Photographer for weddings
Hey guys, getting married in Aug and putting some final touches on the planning.
Right now the main focus is to find a photographer for the wedding. If you can share who you have used in the past or know of someone you would recommend that would be great!

REally depends how much you want to spend, it ranges from $2 to $10K+
Johnny Tran (not the guy from F&F) does really good work. JTImages. Google him.

I used Johnny for my wedding and I would definitely recommend him to anyone. Johnny's a great guy, super easy to work with. Not the cheapest but does great work. Trust me when I say your wedding day is going to be a blur and photos are the only thing you'll have to remember the day by and definitely worth splurging on.Originally posted by max_boost

My wife is a wedding photographer and I know you're "supposed" to say it but I think she's pretty damn good at it as well.
Her prices are fairly reasonable compared to what you would pay through some places.

Wedding photographers on Beyond should be required to pay a deposit to the client. Google the hell out of anyone, a proper pro photographer will not mind.
It only takes a few bad apples to ruin the profession on this forum. You'd think it would be a decent business decision to advertise on Beyond as a wedding photographer, really everyone needs one or three in their life as marriage is a crap shoot at best.

Go to Photobolic. Recognized by Wedding bells for 2012 / 2013. Price is definitely not the cheapest but high quality work.

Also used Johnny for both engagement and wedding shoots. Well worth it.

pixels of love and mike boldt both hold a bad rap on here so might want to avoid those two. check out dz nuts ppl are flying him to mexico to do wedding shoots so he must bepretty good

There are a lot of shit photographers in this city. Anyone with a dslr camera thinks they can shoot weddings. Beware of this.
I have worked with a lot of photographers and have found Adam with Studio 35 to be outstanding. He will be doing my brothers wedding.
