Drive By Egging - White Lancer

My alarm went off last night, so I looked out my window and saw nothing. Thought it might have been a loud exhaust that drove by. Woke in the morning to head to work and had a look but it was too dark. Later in the day when the sun was out, I noticed it was egged on the side of the car. Luckiy I have a dashcam installed and pulled the sd card out and had a look on my phone..

so at noon, took the car to try to wash off the egg,damage to the paint from the impact of the egg

this happened in the NE, not sure why my car war targeted.
if you look at pic 4 and 6 it clearly shows there are egg spatter/shell on the top left corner of the door.
