Where do you guys hear these crazy ass rumours? Haha, some days I wonder what your sources are! I was at home at lunch and checked this out (as I had yet to do any of yesterday's missions) and the First Firewall missions was still available to me for completion. From everything I have read, it was only timegated originally. Once you complete the first firewall and upgrade the IKELOS core, you only have to wait for the daily reset.

I have the IKELIOS core, but I didn't bother doing the Warsat stuff yet. I had no idea it was on any kind of timer, or whatever...

Hell, I don't even know what it was for. Just that it showed up and I started to do it.

Meanwhile, after a full week of waiting for Armsday, I did get that Exotic quest - and did the mission so I have my Raze Lighter now. Big deal I suppose.

I guess this one is the easiest because you can kill the Arc and Void damage bosses immediately without screwing up the timer! It gets a lot harder having to keep those bosses alive - so presumably the Arc & Void will be harder - unless the boss sequence is different. All 3 of my fireteam members were solar, so it was pretty easy.

I don't know about straightforward. I can't imagine how you'd be able to figure everything out in one day without the help of the reddit threads with the codes and steps in there. I've seen some neat footage of the weapon with some guy doing the court of oryx tier 3 solo and wrecking with with that weapon leveled. Looks like it will be a lot of fun to use.

Just finished my first oryx raid. That was fun. Finally hit 303 now too.

Just need to finish up the 2 quests for the Exotic doubt rifle and the heavy fusion rifle. So guys in my fire team had the heavy and it just wrecked the ogres at the sisters.

tier 3 court this week is mega, mega easy... anybody could solo that one I think even just with a sword

them killing Atheon is less than 10 seconds with only 4 of them is more impressive imo. 70,000 damage a shot

little late in the week I suppose but if anybody had ordered the fusion rifle last week, one of the rolls is perfect. max stability and even more accuracy when you swap to it. thing shoots insanely far and charges pretty quick

LOL last night was the first and last time I'll ever run with an LFG group... my usual team, we got all the way to Witches pretty fast early in the week but then a couple guys had to go. I didn't want my raid to go to waste, found a group to down Witches that took an hour to down the single easiest part of the raid. At least I got good drops.

Then tried to do Oryx... same guy wiped us eight times in a row, dying to fuckin adds or getting run over by the ship, so we never even staggered him. Stayed up until 1 AM on a work night trying to run that shit. Fuck!

Oh well. Hopefully this week goes a lot smoother

Which site are you using for LFG? Rule of thumb for me is to give it 3-5 tries; you will usually be able to gauge your team during that.

I ran my alt Hunter using LFG and it got better gear that my main Titan...

I just used the Bungie forums built into the phone app.

The 1st team for Witches actually didn't seem that bad, a lot of it was bad luck with lag. The orb wouldn't appear on the platforms for the runner to chase. The 2nd team for Oryx advertised Oryx CP, I showed up and they were actually running Witches, but then we downed them 2nd try so I thought they were a competent bunch ... NOPE

I ran my 3rd character through the raid today with a bunch of LFG randoms.

Entire raid took 1hr 28mins which was good considering we wasted time waiting for people to do the damn jumping.

Twas easy.

I find that the longer you wait for groups on LFG the shittier they get. Tuesday, good groups, Wednesday, good groups, Thursday, well, so-so groups, and then by the weekend LFG should change its name to GFL - Good Fucking Luck!
