Apparently with 3 34's it can be fun for skilled players.

Im in the middle of waiting for a titan bubble to regen to run the 3 gjally synth. Will get my primary up to 34 which i guess is pretty silly that I have managed that with the game being out 7 days...

I found the 32 much easier this week. Much more fun.

34 is so hard.... Spent over an hour trying to kill the boss. Furthest we got him was 50%. Ridiculous. 2 33's and a 34 w/ no gjally

Black hammer and hunger of crota. Will be your next best weapon.

Got two pest control matrix auto rifle from nightfall. Was going to scrap them until I noticed the low fire rate high impact. Might be good so I rolled it.
First roll got focus fire, armor piercing and glass half full! Oh yeah! Just need to upgrade now to see if it's usable in pvp

haha i got the same roll as you for my AR but I got a different AR.

Btw got vex mythoclast on the weekend running VoG hard can't wait to get it upgraded.

If you take any part of any game seriously something is wrong with you. They are called "games" not "sports." Really, just try it, a little Crucible in between all the mega frustrating, unfair encounters bungie keeps setting up for PvE works wonders

Hands down the worst part of this game is all the bellyachers who never shut the fuck up about it ("waaaah I don't play half the game and there isn't enough to do" ) . But they don't stop playing it either. Jokes.

I'm hoping that your reference to weapons of light is not being used with gjallarhorn? Because if that's the case, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but WoL does not affect ballerhorn damage. Turns out, Gjallarhorn has a hidden proximity detonation perk, so the only damage from it comes from the rocket proximity explosion and the wolfpack rounds. Neither of which is buffed by WoL. If that's your only reason for using WoL... Better off switching to Blessing of Light (which I have found to be very hand so far in this xpac, honestly). Now, if you're using Icebreakers, WoL all the way! Love those big IB crits from WoL or specialist or something! Haha.

As far as the comment about being able to obtain level 34 easily... I only half agree with you. Personally, I've had shit luck with Etheric Light from nightfalls and had some catching up to do when I started playing again last week. Don't really have too many people to try the 34 PoE with yet and I'm not a big fan of playing with randoms from Destiny LFG. Sure, after a few weeks everyone will be 34 from just using armor cores... but if the last two weeks have been any indication, it might very well be a 'sub-optimal 34'. I don't know about you, but I have no desire to have 450-500 strength... Anyway, that's my two cents. I've been enjoying this xpac so far after the epic grind fest of Dark Below xpac made me burn out hard on this game. I just wish there was more than 2 fucking sidearms in the game, or at least let us reforge the Vestian Dynasty that's purchasable from Petra Venj. Having an absolute blast playing with that thing.

That has a faster rate of fire and lower impact.

Mine should have the same fire rate as the Suros with less range.

We ran in, popped weapons of light, unloaded Ghorns, then swapped to BH or IB and with weapons of light if you hit him in the critical spot it is over pretty quickly. Duck in the shield for safety on reload.

But I agree it was harder than the 34 with the burning floor of last week. Once you've got that jumping figured out, it's easy or if you've got the titan with Armor or Blessing turned on. I like the blessing...

We use the shield to save us, but also to snipe after we are out of rockets.

It looks to me like all you have to do is basically do PoE on each character, just up to 32 lvl, and you'll get the 34 gear easily. After this week, if you did nothing else and had no luck in the night fall, you'd be one piece away to having all your characters at 34. If you did any 34 PoE you'd have at least one 34, and if you did 34 PoE on all characters all your characters would be 34 right now.

So yeah, I think that's too easy. If you got lucky on nightfalls, even easier.

I think the gear from PoE should have been 36 with full upgrade paths that you've got to do some work for before they are 42. Would have at least added some actual work to getting to Lvl 34.

Level 34 boss has been changed this week. It's arc damage you have to use. Lot's of high impact sniper rifle (E.SPEAR, LDR< etc) and thunderlord. All with weapons of light.

Galli will not work for this week.

Gjallahorn will work but they all have to be 365 and I think all chars must be 34.

Tried last night with 2 34's and me being 33 and no dice. We had it to 5% health which is why i know it will work with 34's.

Just got lucky with an etheric from the nightfall so now I'm 34 33 and 31 lol having 1 34 means it should just be a matter of time to get all 3 up to 34 without to much hassle.

I'm confused, are you guys talking about Skolas in the lvl 35? Or the Vex dude at the end of 34?

Cause you do not need 3 34's for the Vex boss in PoE 34. Did it last night with 3x 365 Gjallarhorns and I was level 33. My two partners were 34, however.

Completed the most raids ever in one night last night, 5 in total. 3x crota hard - one on each character, one crota normal so we could get a buddy to 30, and VoG hard in 3 hours. Not bad, not bad

Got a fourth gjallahorn, took a video of me dismantling it and sent it to friends who still haven't got one, lol

I heard that Crota now just takes two swords if the hunter is a level 34. LOL!!!
