Hunter Arcbolt are pretty much useless now even with Lucky Raspberry. I couldn't get any kills with it even after I take down the guys shield and get a few shots on them without their shield.

other than that the new crucible maps are way funner.

I've been running Gunslinger instead since the nerfs to arcbolt and blink... pretty fun! plus Gunslinger's Trance helps a lot with PRs, makes em way more stable. especially Red Death

Already 40? that is very disappointing.

with the need to get experience to level up i was assuming an appreciable grind to get there.

People are going to be done TTK just as quickly as they were with HoW...

I'm 40 already. Took me about 2 hours total.

I had 16 bounties and several public events stored. So that was easy. But that's not the hard part anyhow. You'll all be level 40 after 1 day of playing.

It's the light. Now that's a problem.

I killed Oryx already too.

It's easy to Solo this whole thing so no need for a fireteam.

But there seems to be plenty to do still. A shitload of quests, assuming you need to do them to get the light and goodies.

Guessing once you do them all the RAID opens up. I'm still working on it but have to be done for today. Ahhhh, work. What a pain in the ass to have to work.

Sounds like they stocked liked everything and turned it in all at once and got 40 already.

I've played the first 2 levels and I already hit mid 35 with completing a few bounties too.

yeah I forgot to stock up on bounties and shit. My hunter has enough questlines left to do, never even did a single HoW mission, so should be able to hit 40 from finishing those and bounties. My lock if I use my Red Bull code plus bounties should be 40 tonight

not looking forward to replacing my armor. have multiple perfect sets for both characters that took so long to cobble together ;_; hope Trials comes back soon so I don't have to fuck with PvE for too long

At level 36 and having a blast so far. Super fun..... also the one gun I have been trying to get for months dropped for me!!!! I got a hawkmoon from a blue or green engram! Lol so happy. Upgraded it already with motes.

Every single player of Destiny XBOX now has a Hawkmoon if you bought TTK.

I've nearly levelled mine up.

Not sure why, but it's fun to use.

What was the point of even increasing the level cap if they were going to make it so easy to level up to max though

I guess the engram you get is the first of the new "smart loot" drops so it's guaranteed to give you something you didn't already have. I'm really hoping it doesn't give me Super Good Advice cuz I deleted mine, picked up the bounty again, deleted it again because that gun sucks ass and now don't have one

for anybody who has all the XB exotics it sounds like about 70% of them get Hawkmoon, 29% get Monte Carlo and one poor bastard got 4th Horseman

also Weapons of Light affects rocket launchers now so Gjallarhorn is back to doing the same damage it did before. It never got the WoL buff previously so it's almost like (if you play on a good team) it never got nerfed at all

I got it from the cryptarch for doing the veteran tour quest.

Hawkmoon is soooo good. It's got that little special chime whenever you hit the lucky bullet. It's so rewarding haha. I'm just saving up the legendary marks to buy the year 2 hawkmoon now lol

Well i definitely liked the expansion seems fresh. Way to small again though. Finished the story in about 3 hours which is definitely shorter than I would like but i really enjoyed each and every mission. The cinematic were great to! Reminded me of the quality storytelling in Warcraft 3. Still a million questions though...

I finished my Veternan quest on my Titan yesterday and got Red Death which I needed as I hadn't got one before. I hope when I complete my other 2 characters I'll pick up the 4th Horsemen since it has a year 2 upgrade.

So far I'm liking the expansion. Ended up blowing away most of my old legendarys which was fine. I'm liking a lot of the new gun models. The Titan Sunbreaker Class is super fun!

Killramos, the year 2 exotic upgrades for Year 1 weapons are:
Hawkmoon, The last Word, Monte Carlo, Suros Regime
Invective, The 4th Horseman
Thunderlord, Truth

If you check the exotic kiosk in the tower it should tell you how to do the upgrade. I can't quite remember how the upgrade works.

Has anyone seen this video yet? Crota Normal with all swords. Thought this was pretty cool.
