Where do courier trucks park?

Just wondering because what if you order something electronic that's a little fragile, probably a bit sensitive to temperature (cold or heat), but you're not there to receive it they take it back...

But do they leave it in the truck and leave the truck parked outside in some lot? Or do the park the trucks inside a building to protect potentially sensitive/fragile cargo from the cold for example?

90% of courier trucks are parked in the warehouse, the ones that aren't are emptied.

In ontario they just leave them outside. In calgary ours are parked indoors in the warehouse docks.

The courier truck like ups goes inside the warehouse.
The transport trucks are not heated at all though and drive in the cold

Ups actually has special locked cages inside their warehouse specifically for Ipods etc, according to the guy who picks up at my office every day, so if they can't deliver it they scan it back in and it gets locked up inside.

That may have been a more specific thing for the large quantities of nano returns on the recall they did, but I dunno.
