btw anyone get new console beta update? Seems pretty good except I didn't get the friends tab on home. I guess only a few people in the beta get that.

Got the preview update also. Didnt get new friend feed though. Just some as you said. Hope the blu ray app update comes soon for 3d. Only the option to allow 3d content was added as of now.

Have there been any hardware issues with XB1s yet? I'm looking at a used one, day one edition, but want to make sure they weren't lemons like every other console launch MS and Sony have done.

Had to have my kinect replaced as did Zman2k. Don't think its a huge widespread issue though. MS replaced it in less than a week too, and that was with a stat holiday.

Console has been fine.

Yeah, my concern is that if I get it used, I'll probably have problems getting service. How does it fail exactly? So I know what to look for.

Most common issue was with disc drive failures and/or the console exhibiting a loud horrible noise at all times which would either be the power supply or the disc drive.

Mine just started disconnecting and turning off randomly. As long as the console is registered it should still be under warranty if you had issues.
