Yea, compared to PS4, it's molasses. Browsing for a game to buy on XB1 for example just feels laggy, and I'm sure a lot of ppl just don't bother after a few clicks.

Of course, the XB1 dashboard is doing so much more than PS4 so I can see why it's slow. Is all the bloat necessary? Probably not, hence the new dashboard. I'm still a little bit bitter tho haha.

On the PS4, the experience is great until they take your money. Then it's slow as shit. Opposite for XB1, downloads are super fast now, hitting 200mbps every download.

Should still be 2 OS's. Hyperviser runs the dashboard then A virtual OS runs the game. Difference is that now there will be one virtual rather than two ( snap and game were separate virtual systems ).

Which was always great sandboxing because when a game crashed you didnt need a console reset.

At least that's my interpretation.

Stupid xbox wont play my blurays. I have downloaded the app, which is rated 2 out of 5.....

Keep getting error code, 0x80820002 . Anyone dealt with this? There a solution?

Tried a hard refresh? I had one of mine go on the fritz but a hard reset and it was right as rain.

Tried it , xbox is fully updated. also tried uninstalling the blu ray app and re installing it. no better.

Make sure your Xbox One console is placed horizontally on a flat, stable surface.
Press and hold the power button on your Xbox One console for 10 seconds.
Once your console is powered off, unplug the power cord.
Wait 3 minutes and then plug in your console.
Power on your console and try playing a disc.

Not right off the bat, as I don't even have a 4K TV yet. Looking to upgrade one of the TVs in the next couple of months, and will wait for some big games like RDR2 before picking up an XB1X (is that the proper abbreviation?).

Just trying to figure out which room gets the 4K treatment first.

Will not gain ground against PS4 or PS4 Pro because the are no exclusives (launch exclusives are timed). All games launched going forward will be playable on older Xbox Ones with toned down graphics performance. The only game that make me buy every new Xbox at Launch (Forza) is now on PC. My PC rig is 2x more powerful than Xbox One X, so going forward I don't think there are any incentives.

Lastly, the price is too high even they gave Canadians a break at $599. As a media box, it adds nothing over Xbox One S as it already got 4K covered. With GPU at 6 TFlops, there is no way it can do 4k 60fps at full quality. Medium setting probably.

The key is there is no big exclusives launching with the console. No Halo, no Gears.

I think exclusives will continue to push PS4's numbers where Xbox will continue to preach to the converted. Consider there are 2 PS4 for every 1 Xbox One sold, I don't think One X will buck this trend.

I'm in the same boat. I don't have any 4K tv in the house either. I'll probably be waiting a while too before I decided to upgrade to an XB1X and upgrading my gaming TV.

I've seen a lot of good options out there for 4K Tv's. However I'm not entirely sure what tv is the most suitable. Besides a TV being 4k, is the input lag the biggest thing to consider? One with an extremely low one at 4K w/ hdr on?

Not enough content, and lack of options in 80"+ sizes that's not $10k+.

One of my 60" Samsungs broke a couple months ago in the guest room, was just about to buy a replacement 4K for it, but was too lazy to reprogram all my remotes for it and ended up getting it fixed for $300. Almost went 4K there!

I will be getting one at launch, I think it will be worth it even without 4k just for what the extra HP brings to the table. Any games that had variable resultion in the past halo 5) will run at 100% all the time on the X.

I also had my xbox stutter alot in certain games and those will be a cakewalk for the new console. I am very excited.

I do have a 4k TV though which is a nice bonus.

I'll be getting one at launch. Waiting for pre-orders to show up. I have a 4K Vizio M60 but it doesn't have HDR. I read HDR is not good for gaming anyways but not sure.

I sold my Wii U to get a Switch but didn't get one so I can use that towards the XBOX (I think that's the abbreviation MS is going for lol).

It would be even better if the MS store gave like a $200-$300 trade in credit for the S.
