So I moved a couple weekends ago and I hooked up my xbox to my TV and has some weird things happen.

First of all I didnt have the TV set up through the xbox. But when I would go to netflix it would go all bat shit crazy flashing a black screen constantly. Changed some HDMI cables and TV slots and all seemed fine.

Now when I plug my cable in through the xbox I get the same craziness. Flashing black screen until I shut down my xbox.

Anyone experience this?

Nope the tv features work perfectly on both of my xbox ones and tvs. Definitely doesn't affect Netflix or anything?

Chance it got dropped during the move or some thing?

Really stupid question, but the original cable you used that caused the problem, did you throw it out, or accidently use that to connect your cable box to the XB1?

It sounds like a HDCP problem to me. I had it with my old HDMI matrix, was getting all sorts of random shit from flashing black screen to snow in the "TV" window. Yea, snow, haven't seen that shit since the analog days.

I "think" I didn't use the same one, I have about 6 laying around and I thought I grabbed a different one.

I'll play around again tonight. I imagine though that if its not a cable issue it would be an issue with the Xbox?

Happy to see SP TSOT (bought that digitally) and Lego Star Wars (gave that to neighbors) on the list. Same with Golden Axe and Crazy Taxi.

There's speculation Infinity Ward is doing MW collection next year. That kind of makes sense because no one is going to buy Ghosts 2. I assume they didn't put Black Ops 2 because of 3 just coming out.

I don't understand how all of their first party games aren't ready. Pretty lame after hyping it for months.

There's going to be a decent amount of people buying Ghosts 2... people like me who aren't fans of the boosted jump and space/future storylines. I've been slowly replaying ghosts right now because of the storyline.

If they do MW trilogy, I'd buy it again digitally just to not have to use discs.

Thanks to that lovely new update my external HDD is no longer recognized by the Xbox. Seems to be a common issue, here's hoping they patch that up sooner than later.

Which HDD are you using? I'm using Seagate Expansion 3TB 7200rpm, and noticed that after the update, it popped up with a "external drive is ready" message, which I found odd. Happened on both XB1's.

I believe it's called an iomega (500GB) It's super old, I just use it for movies and TV shows to play on my Xbox. But since that update, the Xbox doesn't recognize the drive. Still haven't seen a patch for this yet, I really hope they fix it soon.

Puts the S at close to 100-150 dollar upgrade cost over the standard console once you sell it on Kijiji. That's worth it for the 4k bluray player alone.
