Has anyone updated to the new dashboard? I was going to but looks like there are known issues with Forza 6 and the taken king. Don't really wanna risk it

I got an email while I was in Taiwan - said I had to check my console for messages. When I got home this weekend went into the preview app and I did have the update but there are a lot of issues.

That sucks. I had mine pre-ordered from Amazon. Apparently the initial batch is sold out.

I've been on the new dashboard for a while now. I've seen quite a few updates for it already this month to fix bugs.

I have the issue where I'll launch destiny, and it will occasionally not see that I have the disc in the drive when it does a license check. I'll fix it by ejecting it and putting it back in. Can't comment on Forza 6 though, I don't own it.

I updated sunday night. Haven't had any issues so far. Its being pushed out to all preview members now I think.

No issues. Just alot of figuring out how shit works. I think overall it is better though. Just going to take getting used to.

Kinect is a savior lol.

^^Mine gave me a black screen on saturday so I turned it off and it was on the green xbox screen indefinitely, took me like an hour to fix
You need to hard power off, unplug everything, let it sit 5+ mins then plug in only hdmi/power and turn it on to get it working again if it happens to anyone else.

I updated the night I posted that Q, I've had no issues with it since. Just weird english text sometimes

I got the disc issue last night with Halo. Community feed video clips don't play properly. It only plays for like 3 secs then stops. The bugs are starting to get fixed. I don't know if it's ready to go public in a couple of weeks though.

I am but only because I have money on an EB card as it's pretty pricey. I have seen video reviews and it appears to be of much higher quality than the standard controllers.

My day 1 controller failed a while ago and I called MS support asking to fix it because I want a day 1 sticker. They sent me a new one. Took a while, had to get escalated to the NA team before they did anything.

You have to keep bitching to get escalated to Global Escalation Support department, then you're good to go. The offshore guys are rule followers and can't do ANY exceptions.

i was hoping Walmart would have them as i have a 100$ gift card and get 10% there cause of mother in law works there as pharmacist. they didnt even get any stock of the controller.
