Ontario has HST of 13% so buddy paid $565 per box. Not a terrible price at $660, $95 markup if you want it right away. Only making $950 on that lot though haha.

Not a bad profit if he can sell them all. Our local kijiji has almost 50 ads already and prices are pretty high. I think that's due to the fact no single store got more than maybe 50. I had to line up last night to get mine and this morning I took my younger brother out to bestbuy sunridge at 6:30am and he was first in line and got a day one ,they had 15 xbones and 14 were day ones. had to turn a good chunk of people around

Looks like PS4 beat XB1 to day 1 inventory by a huge margin. At least, based on how many consoles each store got. Lineups looked a lot bigger for XB1 than PS4 though but that also could be inventory related.

Definitely inventory related. Walmart by 130 Ave had 90 PS4 last week. This morning they only had 14 XB1.

Same with Target, they had a lot more PS4 compared to XB1

It's going to be some time before any price drops happen on the two new consoles.
Definitely not going to happen for christmas, as these things are a license to print money currently and even more so in the holiday season.

I pre-ordered from Amazon, got an email beginning of the week saying my order will be shipped on Friday with expected delivery date 26th-27th Nov, I'm ok with that as I gotta work Sat/Sun doing switch upgrades.

Yesterday evening I got a shipped email with delivery today before 8pm from carrier UPS, damn I hate UPS! hopefully they deliver after 4pm cause them fuckers will just leave it on the doorstep!
