Aaand we're back to square 1. This is a diplomat box and it's garbage. I'm looking for a 3 watch winder that won't break the bank and just plain won't break.

    Has anyone seen any recently?

I got one through Orbita, but it's a 1 watch winder.

    It's decent.

Isn't it actually better to let your automatic watches 'rest' if they are not going to be worn for a while, instead of them constantly running?

Once you get past around 6 watches in a collection, you give up trying to keep them all running with the correct time haha. My watch winders are sitting around collecting dust.

I have the same one and it's been going fine since the floods (I picked it up from Fedex the evening evacuations were happening haha)

    It does periodic rotations:

Rotation Mode: Bi-directional. Approximately 6 rotations per minute
Rotation Program: Pre-programmed. 10-15 minutes per hour - 1440-2160 Rotations per day

They do rest in the winders, the winders don't go all day long, they'll go for a few minutes and rest for a few minutes or longer, I can't remember, mine doesn't work lol

I need at least 3, max 4 watch winder because I'm really trying to cut down on the watch buying. Anything you want to sell at a non ridiculous price? Lol

Yea that's the issue I am facing. I have I think around 5 or 6 (some better than others) decent automatic watches and after I am done wearing one, I don't come back to it for weeks or even months at times. So I have them just sitting in my regular watch case, instead of a special winder that runs sporadically. I purchased a 24 watch case from eBay for like $100 or something and it's got glass on top and looks decent as well. Then I threw all my watches in there including the fashion cheapo's and some replicas I had from my younger days. Now my goal is to get rid of those and fill the box with just the decent, nicer watches.

Personally I keep my watches in a fire safe. Rather not have them sitting in a winder that would be easy for a thief to walk away with if there ever was a break in.

Also I'd check your home insurance policy to see what value of jewelry is covered. You may have to pay for additional coverage.

I prefer having the peace of mind that they are in a safe rather on display. I tend to wear a watch for a fair amount of time before switching it up so winding isn't a huge PITA.

I have two Hamilton's that I use for DD's (depends if I'm wearing brown shoes/belt or black), and I keep them both on one of those garbage diplomat winders all the time. The winder clunks and makes a bunch of noise, but it's far enough from where I sleep that it's nbd haha.

Get this, its pretty good, had it for years and works fine and make next to no noise. The flashing lights get annoying though.

I first went to JVair for one but the sales lady was pretty dumb and knew nothing about anything and quoted me a price more than what the thing cost. Went over to Calgary Jewellery and had no problem getting one for 20%-30% off, it was even a special order too. This was awhile ago and I see the prices for these have sky rocketed since.

Ya there's no way I'm paying that much for a watch winder lol thanks though. Wolf designs seem really good.

Yeah well I wonder how they get the soft flowing caramel inside the Caramilk bar but you don't see me making a god damn thread about it. Slap your wife Baygirl, straighten him out.
