Default Coupon sites: How far is too far?

This popped up in my inbox as the standard 'deal-of-the-day' which prompted me to wonder if these hyper-coupon sites have outlived their usefulness:

Then I noticed that there's over 120 purchased so there's clearly a demand for toenail fungus removal at $200/pop.

Conclusion: the odd decent restaurant deal isn't worth the onslaught of junk and ridiculous offers.

Some people will just buy it becuase it is on sale.

I'd be more concerned about people who are paying $600 for the fungus removal.

In my experience, it's cheap for a reason. You tend to get what you pay for.

Removing toenail fungus shouldn't cost more than $20 - The price of a bottle of tea tree oil. The real hitch is in remember to do the regular treatments, for the entire 6 months.

I couldn't imagine paying someone $200 to do this for me.

Multiple visits would probably still be required - Unless someone's invented a way to do it all at once.

There's the rub: The fungus actually lives at the root, so you have to treat the entire toenail for one entire toenail cycle.

Smashed a thumb a couple of years ago in the shop, and it went fungal. turned into the ugliest sickest most unsightly mess.

Lasted like a year until I finally bit the bullet and did daily soakings in vinegar and tea tree oil... for like 6 months.

Daughter and I are currently working on the same with a couple of lightly fungal toenails... But it's so easy to forget to treat, and success requires consistency.

I love how they say "limited time remaining." I've seen the shitty deals on hair removal and auto detailing for months. As for their "product deals", the prices are the same as what I can find on Amazon. Some deals...
