1080p screen will be the main feature, right? Anything else to expect other than the usual?
But the biggest buzz is around eye tracking, which could be the South Korean company’s answer to Siri. Eye tracking is a technology that has been around for a while, but generally the implementation has been too costly for everyday use. It’s been used in research in everything from how people look at web pages to product design.
Potentially awesome...
2017 VW Jetta 1.4T (winter car)
2010 F-350 Nortruck Tool Shed
2007 BMW 5 (Wifey's)
2004 Audi A4 1.8T 6spd Stage III w/ Meth
1985 F-250 6.9L IDI w/ATS turbo
Eye tracking sounds sweet, but so does kinect on xbox and nintendo wii it undoubtably will have a toggle feature to turn it off in case it is super buggy. I could only imagine you're reading something on your phone then you glance up to look at the tv and you're at the top of the page on your phone again.
Still, i'm pumped. I just got the nexus 4 so obviously won't be getting the galaxy 4, but I'm exciting with every release android/black berry comes out with.

Wait... so the S3 (which I have) was replaced by something else in under 6 months. WTF OVER?!

Looks pretty neat, not sure how they had so many leaks this time yet with the S3 nobody really knew much until it was unveiled.
It's almost a year "old". That's pretty good in smartphone years!Originally posted by HiTempguy1

I'm sure everything leaked is part of the new wave of advertising, a way to get people interested enough to watch the stage show opening.
Asides from that, the masses didn't give a crap about the S3, until it was already on the market, and proving to be a viable competitor for the iphone.

I won't be getting this phone but I'm super pumped for it, regardless of what is announced, it will push the bar upwards which is a good thing for the entire industry.

looks like some details are starting to be leaked and pics too
apparently it'll look similar to the galaxy s3
uses a 2600mah battery (500mah bigger than s3) which is good to see, i just hope the upgraded hardware doesn't cancel out the bigger battery and equal crappy battery life again
bigger screen (4.99 inches)
more pics here

Don't really like how they're making it bigger yet again. I think the s3 size is about as big as I'd want a cellphone. If you want a bigger phone, just go with the note 2.
the phone itself is literally only 2mm wider on each side and 1 mm taller to accommodate the increased screen size... and the phone is thinner too to compensate for this. You won't even notice once you get used to it. People always have something to complain about lol. Give me a break.Originally posted by jsn

Calm down, no need to get all worked up. I didn't read all the specs. Didn't realize it was only 2mm wider on each side and 1mm taller.
Amazing how it's both thinner and skinnier than the S3, the same height, and has a bigger screen, and has wireless charging. It cant have wireless charging built it and be thinner than the s3, can it?
Dimensions:
S4 136.6 x 69.8 x 7.9mm
S3 136.6 x 70.6 x 8.6mm
Was planning on checking this out when I got home from the office, didn't realize it was nearly 7 and I am still here

Using it with gloves is pretty neat for us where it is cold.5" 1080p Super AMOLED HD display (441 PPI) – it even works with gloves on (!)
1.9GHz quad-core Qualcomm processor / 1.6GHz octa-core Exynos processor (depending on market)
2GB DDR3 RAM
13 MP Rear shooter, 2MP front camera – you can shoot videos and take pictures with both at the same time
16GB/32GB/64GB Storage, microSD card slot with support up to 64GB
Android 4.2.2 with a "totally new and upgraded user experience"
Available on 327 operators in 155 countries
Bluetooth 4.0
4G LTE Support
802.11a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi
IR Blaster
MHL 2.0
Temperature and humidity sensors (!)
2,600mAH battery
136.6 x 69.8 x 7.9 mm, 130g
Two colors: Black Mist, White Frost
Looks like wireless charging is built into the removable back plate. Nice. Unlike the nexus 4 which is not removable.
I wonder if we'll get the octa-core version. North America got screwed over and received the dual core s3 instead of the quad core version.
Was there really much of a difference between the two?
The internet is saying they preformed about the same.
Plus the dual got LTE.
I would guess it would be the same idea this time around.
Plus, is android even optimized for 8 cores?
