I've been playing this a lot more on xb360 since my kid fed my gaming laptop coffee. If anyone wants to squad up my gamer tag is: the team idiot

I play damn near anything. Hard core soft core big maps little maps fuckit

All my xbl friends went to xb1 so I'm running solo and it kinda sucks haha. Not looking for competitive clan matches and shit, just some casual beer drinking good times

The new patch is pretty good. The game feels a lot different. I got to play on console a bit last night and it feels much improved.

It did take a while, though the game was still playable from February this year up until this point with steady updates. Still if they released it now as opposed to last year, I'd be stuck solely playing ghosts. I've never lost interest in a cod so early in it's cycle as I did with Ghosts.

Final Stand just got released yesterday? Anyone playing it yet? I just got my downloads finished last night and didn't have a chance to try them out yet.

it's decent. that new railgun is pretty wicked but there's always people around its spawn point so you gotta be ready to fight for it.

the maps are quite large but fairly easy to find action using your mini-map. overall, disappointed there's not a new weapon selection to unlock but i'm hoping that bow is fun once its available. (i did get a chuckle out of them putting in a bipod knife)

Do you find it more enjoyable than BF3?

BF4 has been a giant flop personally from a gameplay standpoint. I can barely stand to play for 1 round. I don't know if its the netcode, the gun play, the mechanics of Frostbite3... but I can't compete anywhere nearly as good as I did in BF3 and therefore that kinda kills any fun I have. I'm getting my butt handed to me all the time.... so instead.. I've been playing a ton of BF3 and instantly most rounds I'm back in the top5 players every match.

Just makes no sense.

For me yes. But that's because I've only played BF3 on consoles (Xbox 360) as I've never had a gaming pc. For me BF3 was fun on the 360 but because of map size, Conquest servers with 24 people max, you'd run around hardly seeing anyone. Therefore I'd usually stick to rush mode. I would of loved to play BF3 conquest with 64 players but it wasn't an option.

With this being the first time BF4 has had 64 players conquest on next gen consoles, I've enjoyed the game a lot. The 64 player count in servers makes all the difference for conquest. I'm not a elite player by far, but I have some good rounds. I can't really comment on the state of PC play as I've never played there, but I can only imagine some crazy good players with mouse and keyboard plus vehicle whores everywhere.

Playing BF4 on my big screen. Damn that 20ms delay is killing me. Ordering up a PG278Q. Will be in soon. Want to have the best setup for video cards that have gsync capability.

Recommendations for card? I was thinking an EVGA GTX Titan Z. However, can i get better results with dual GTX 980's for similiar cost? Not going 4k.

Personally I always choose a single card over dual. Never had luck with any dual option when it comes to drivers.

With the final map pack out, it appears it's not the end of the road. Dice has said there will be more content coming. They also asked the question about favorite classic maps in the form of a survey so that hints that we may see some classic maps returning which is pretty sweet.
