I guess we ordered at the same time and mine came in a couple weeks before yours.
I just chatted with Ford directly to see the status of my truck as I am still paranoid that my truck is going to get delayed. Can't do it through my regular guy as he went on vacation till the 29th.

My truck is still scheduled to be built the week of 08/02, and the actual build DAY is 08/04.

So fingers crossed, my truck is being built in like a week!

I didn't realize the next Ranger was going to possibly maybe be have a PHEV option. I got a little hard when I read that.

A midsized PHEV truck capable of towing 7500+ lbs. My dream.

If it makes it feel faster that would be cool… but I can’t for the life of me get this thing to drink more than 11.5L/100km… dont need much better mileage personally. but haven’t towed with it either.

I'd happily downsize to a Ranger when the RFD lease is up, if they get the cooled seats/heated wheel in the Lariat.

well, I am lucky AF it seems, and my new F150 build didn't have any hic-ups (yet).

My window sticker populated last night, and looks like it is being built on the 4th! Dealer says trucks usually show up in 3 weeks, so should have it hopefully by the end of August, start of September!

Once more people get the powerbooost I'm curious how their mileage are when towing.
With the powerboost you lose the 136L tank and is stuck with the 80L.

I use the box a lot for my projects I do for Beyonders, and I don't tow a ton. And yeah, I wish I could still get the 136L tank, but there is no option to get a larger tank, so I am stuck with the 92 or 94L tank (I don't remember the exact size, but, it's around there).

People are reporting numbers all over the place, some as low as 16mpg, others as high as 26mpg. I don't have much of a heavy foot and tend to stay out of the boost most of the time so I expect to get pretty good MPG.

From what I hear, you get the same distance travelled in the power boost as you would if you had the 3.5L EB with the 136L tank. When towing, you have the same 3.5L EB engine pulling, so I think the numbers would line up, but your range would be hampered with the smaller tank and would have to fill up more, but your cost per KM would be about the same with identical loads.

Any idea what your true final payload capacity will be? Ive been trying to see i can deck out a F150 to get close to 2000lb, or just give up and go with a 3/4T

7050# GVWR packages are usually around the 1700lbs for the 18-20 MY.... but that is obviously option dependent, curious how much weight the hybrid uses up.

If i was to stick the the F150 it would be almost identical to your setup.

His truck is the wrong way to get high payload. The hybrid is heavy.
Are you needing the crew cab 4x4? Probaly means the ultra rare Heavy Duty Payload Package (HDPP) which forces 301A as highest trim level and 157" wheelbase (6.5' bed).

If you are going to legitimately have 2000lbs of load, you will be better off in an F250/F350 in so many ways. I have done this in nearly every combination, and I love my half-tons, but there's a point where it just becomes unpleasant, even if it is possible.

2000 lbs payload is super easy to get on Regular cab trucks though. If you are talking about a working truck and not a family truck.

I know, i know, leh sigh....

The problem is I love the F150 as a truck. Need a 6.5ft box for the sled deck, and have a kid due in the next week. The crew cab is a must, as the baby seat is not even an option in the extended cab currently. ("Oh hunny, i need a new truck, the baby seat wont fit" )

Will have to give up the hybrid which i can live with, but dropping below the Lariat would be a deal breaker.

Wouldnt touch a ram, and if im going GMC, might as well pick up a nice, used duramax.

I think getting a 2000lbs payload in an F150 would be fairly easy in a regular cab or extended cab.

my 2019 F150 has 1700lbs even with the sunroof.

I think if you wanted the power boost, it is gonna be harder. I would go with a truck similar to the one I spec'd, and get the max payload package. The Hybrid setup is heavy though, but I think with the max payload you will get pretty close. I am expecting mine to have a payload somewhere around 14-1500lbs. I passed on options that I thought would impact the payload numbers too much like the sunroof. As soon as I know what my payload is going to be, I will let you know.

you'll be 1600- 1700 lbs payload rating or so in an F150 Lariat SuperCrew 4x4 with max tow.
Now an F350 with the 7.3L gas engine would be a great sledding truck.

Max payload isnt available in any trim higher than the base XLT... which is deal breaker. Looking forward to seeing what your truck comes at, i would assume the same, i think i heard the hybrid adds ~700lbs... so my marth of 1600 +300 in increased GVWR -700 lbs is probably close the 1400-1500 lbs

Ugh, the highway mileage though..... Oh, and while this wouldnt technically be a daily driver, it would be a weekly commuter.... hence the hybrid... square peg meet round hole.....

Ford, why cant you give me a Lariat with the HDPP????!!!

square peg round hole is right. That's a tough wish list. Maybe just embrace your inner redneck and get the biggest V8 you can.

the PDI process at most dealerships is a joke. I'd prefer if they didn't.
