I can't imagine that detail is more than one pass through an auto car wash, and the oil is probably not synthetic.

“Semi-synthetic” …whatever that means, but full is an option. Detail includes interior, and yes advantage offers.. which is part of the wood group,

Interesting. What's still not clear, from the last several posters, is the price and wait time typical for these services.
If anbyone wants to be really helpful, a post in this format would be great:
Shop/ Dealer Name / Date visitied / Services and procudts received / price paid.

I'm good for another 8 months, but if someone is actually detailing my truck, even a cheap detail, and doing a synthetic oil change, for anything under $150, than that's pretty incredible value.

Probably the same with mine. Might be rust actually, I barely put any miles on the truck and it lives outside where they're just finishing up the last few houses on my street so it's plenty dusty. Only have 4600km on it since the end of April and 1000km of that was just from a road trip to Vancouver.

Ive got the rear brake squeal as well. Sounds like right rear. I always set parking brake so not sure if it has to do with that but it squeals on first couple brake presses coming out of garage every time.

Go for a nice hard drive (stability control uses the rear brakes to keep you inline) and get some heat in there and see if it cleans em up

My rear brakes kind of have a low squeal/groan but only in reverse. I figured that the brake bias is just awful and they never really bedded in.

Dealer called me this morning to let me know my truck was dropped off in the rail yard in Edmonton! Was a good call to get! Means I can hopefully pick it up monday or tuesday!

Fucking Maclin Ford calls me this morning, asking if I got a new truck yet, and if not, they would be happy to help me get one. Even the same salesbro that I dealt with before.

Told him right the fuck off. Why the hell am I going to place ANOTHER order and have them reneg on the deal, AGAIN. Some fucking balls on them to come knocking after pulling such shady stuff. Told him my new truck arrived and I am picking it up next week, and that I wasn't sorry, and to forget my number.

Crazy that these are already showing up "used" on lots... I would be interested to know what the MSRP was on that truck, because I am thinking that might be over...

But, thank you for thinking about me, I appreciate it. Yes, my new truck is a Lariat. I wanted the sport and no FX4 package as I find the sport rides so much better, and the FX4 price for skid plates seems pretty high. There was also other weight savings considered in my new truck to maximize the payload capacity. I am seeing powerboost owners posting their payloads online, usually around 1450lbs. I am hoping to be around 16-1700lbs.

One of the modules failed so we lost AM/FM but our Sat still worked. Got them to take a look and I had mentioned that I had gone to the ford site to update the Sync to the latest version to see if this would help. The lady then tried to say it was my fault the module stopped working but would replace it out of the kindness of their heart. We had extended warranty and I stated again that I tried to perform the update after it stopped working. Well took it in, they ordered the part and waited over a month. Called and the service person closed the ticket and didn't order the parts. Escalated the request and waited another 3-4 weeks. Called again and then they said oh the parts have been here for 2 weeks now and no one called me to schedule the repair.

What a bloody gong show and I won't be going bac to them.

I had that issue with Advantage once, but the service advisor I was dealing with got fired, and shoved a bunch of paperwork away in the back of a drawer.

I have a buddy who's 2021 F150 has been in and out of Advantage several times in the last month for computer and driveability issues. He went to pick it up today, got in, and the entire dash is lit up. Every error light is on. He's very upset.

I usually hate service departments.
