anyone else having issues with cold starts? the other night in edmonton it was a cooler night, -25 or so. my truck had just been driven for a solid 20-25 minutes. i sat in the parking lot for 5 minutes, no battery warning message or nothing and went to restart the truck to find it too dead to crank. i left it for an hour, and suddenly it starts fine. i just had my truck serviced again (3rd time in the shop in the last month or so) and they claimed to have tested it. now, the issue im having is they said spec is 735 CCA, and actual was 600. seems like a large drop for a 1.5 year old truck.

zero issues with cold starting my truck even in the -30 and colder. I haven't even plugged my EB trucks once, but i do use mobil 1 full synthetic too.

I think they were supposed to install a seal around the doors to prevent water from going in, have you contacted the dealer? I just picked up an 18 screw and washed it over the weekend and no issues with the doors but the tailgate wouldnt fuckin close because water mustve gotten in from no seal.

So I went and ordered a new 2018 Expedition. 5-6 months wait time, maybe longer.

Already thinking about mods. Anyone swapped the Raptor wheel with paddles to their 2015+ F150?

Yeah, fucking terrible. Owners of the older expeditions are super salty that the new gen is so much better. They can’t admit that Ford finally built something substantially better. The 2017 is a refreshed truck from 2003.

I wanted to get a Navigator. Only $8K more. But the wait is 1-1.5 years. Fucking worse than ordering an AMG.

There were two in stock a week ago in Calgary (forget where, was just searching inventory for my mom, as she is in the same boat as you). Wouldn't be surprised if they sold within a day, Ford just can't keep up with production. Deff hit it out of the park.

The new expeditions are so sick so congrats for sure. Is the 5-6 month wait only for a special order or is there no stock at all? Bye bye escalade as the new baller suv, the new expedition/navigators are going to be the new king of the hill for full size suvs.

It's based on the 2015 F150 which was all new. It also has Aluminium skin. Gen 2 ecoboost with 10-speed. The platnium gets an extra 25hp and 10 lbft. It is just a tune. The Navigator is getting the Raptor motor. 450hp.
