The new chevy/gmc interior is now available through the build and price. Interesting that the custom trail boss gets old interior while ls trail boss gets the new.

buddy of mine started getting some misfiring codes on his MY2014 ecoscrew FX4 - after 438K

replaced O2 Sensors and had to get the ole cam phaser job..
He had Ford go over the truck throughly to see if the job was even worthwhile and guess what... the compression, calibration, etc. was all in check.

Without a doubt the stupid long timing chain was a poor design, but this guy did drive this truck like it was stolen and though most of the mileage is highway, it probablyspends 4+ hours a day idling as well, avging 14.8 l/100 over the life of it. He also only ever got the semi-synth job done at Ford and brought it in for Service at 10K intervals

all things considered, that truck doesn't owe him a dime and has held up really well. Pretty good indication that these engines can last a long while when maintained.

pretty sure 02s on the eco die because of the enthanol in our fuel. Though the timing chain was a "poor" design, its solvable.

Overall all the conjecture around turbo/DI reliability, and use of a small v6 for 1/2 ton use case was false. The drivetrain, suspension, and transmission (6r80) have so far been bulletproof in this generation.

Even the old Modular 5.4 - again a fixable cam phaser issue and albiet thirsty, is a reliable motor

The Coyote is just a beast in all of its variations

Is it a P0300? I would pull up some data and see what the sensors say.

Does anybody want a set of window visors for their truck? Bought them last year from Grizzly trucks but never put them on. Packaging only opened. I got it on Kijiji for $80 but will give it to a beyonder for a 24 pack of Corona

I'll take em. Edit, wait what years do they fit? Your truck is newer than mine I think.

Anyone got a hookup on tonneau covers? I never sprung for one originally, but finally might have a use for it.

I've got a roll up one for the 5.5 foot box if you're interested? It's the Truxedo LoPro in excellent shape!

Tirebob does truxedo brand. He was my most recent supplier. Great price. I usually price check online too, they are easy to shop and install yourself.

Urban can get a bunch of brands, bakflip etc but truxedo are usually well priced for a "name" brand

I got a cheap soft fold from Princess Auto for $50 one time

Was actually a very reasonable piece of gear FWIW

Anyone know if the "soundscreen" glass in my 2020 XLT 302A is any different or better than the generic glass? Or if the Front collison camera needs special glass or calibration? Got a crack basically right in front of my face. Probably can't leave that one too long.
