My ram was engine-transmission was flawless. Body was starting to rust so I ditched it. Leather or vinyls piece was wrecked too, but my navigator is doing the same.

Ford power train is the reason I’d prefer ford, but I’ll buy the best value for my money.
Of note, F150s are alumnium body. So no rust

My coworkers Powerboost was in the shop for 6 months right after he bought it, until they replaced practically every wiring harness on the third attempt to make it drivable. All new trucks have major issues. Hence my reason searching for a manual crank windows and bench seat truck. I would hope none of the manufacturers could even fuck that up.

    PSA:

Sherwood Ford is playing ball and digging deep into the the built in MSRP Pricing. What do I mean by this? They're combining Ford Manufacturers incentives, and basically down to invoice pricing. Similar to the good 'ol days.

Trucks are still super expensive In my opinion. If anyone wants an introduction to my sales bro there, PM me. I'll split the referral with you.

Here's an example, you're 74,xxx out the door with a very loaded truck. 18k off, but it's more like 16.5k off because they added $1500 to cover doc fees etc onto the MSRP. But this is the cheapest I've seen without even asking for further money off and splitting a referral.

That does sound decent, especially if you can get 0.99 with it. No idea how low Cam Clark will go, haven't asked.

Exactly. Additionally, 2024 is a refresh year so they're more desirable.

So basically after $18k discount is the same price as MSRP was 3-4 years ago…

That's right. Good perspective on how much inflation actually went up in 3 years.

Between Sept 2020, when I bought my truck, and Sept 2021, the real world out the door price on my truck went up 10k. 18k sounds about right for the 3-4 years referenced.

Ford must be desperate. I got a text yesterday from Advantage Ford, 17 years after the last time I walked through their doors.

Driving to Calgary this week I noticed my heated seats weren't working. Lights would come on but nothing. Did some looking up and found the culprit. Cleaned it up and let'r buck. If it stops working again I will buy the connector.
