Definetly get the trailer tow package. I use mine for dragging my blackwater tank around a neighbourhood to dump my poops instead of heading to a proper disposal location. So far so good nobody has caught on.

I don't need a truck or want a truck but this deal is sucking me in.

For those who've ordered, is the Power Tailgate a must option? It was handy with my 1/2 ton Denali, but I am just commuting with it and not sure if it will help resale or a lease transfer down the line. Any other options I should check off?
I checked the box for the Power Tailgate because I wanted the work surface on the tailgate and the tailgate step. Isn't really required though, the standard tailgate for the Lariat already comes with remote open and is damped, the extra $800 is just for a couple of electric motors and some plastic.

If you want to buyout and resell, I'd take the sunroof but apparently they leak like a sieve. Maybe 360 cam and the B&O Unleashed system.

Well I think the only logical solution here is to go do some donuts in an effort to recreate the problem

I didn't see a use for the powertailgate since it already auto opens. Closing would be nice, but not $800 nice. If I was buying this outright to own instead of a cheap lease, I'd definitely consider it along with a few of the other options. IMHO

My opinion, don't get the power tailgate, it's another thing to break, and it's just more expensive to replace when your tailgate gets stolen or damaged.

Had another beyond member reach out for a referral. Makes me smile to think of all your guys driving nice new trucks.

Can I order an FX4 without the hideous decals applied since it's a factory order is the question now...

You cannot. But those decals come off easy, get whoever does your 3m film to take them off for you.

Not gonna bother with 3M on the short term rental.

I'll do it myself with half a bottle of Goo-Gone and a sore thumb the first time I wash it then - Pretend like it's 2003 shaving off my side moldings, rofl.

Ditto. Salesbro gave me a copy of the acceptable damages sheet and having a sandblasted front end is acceptable to Ford lol.

Don't forget to ask your sales guy to add "no dealer markings" on the deal for the truck.

Just a heads up for you guys buying 2021's, we have 5 so far at work and 3 have had bizarre electrical issues. Like wipers going on and not turning off until the engine is turned off. Volume on the stereo going full blast, or completely out. Anti lock brake errors on the screen followed by losing brakes. Electric parking brake errors. Dealers are having problems identifying electrical issues which is annoying and the one that has lost brakes twice has been at the dealership for 2 weeks now and we have been told it will be a few more weeks. Anyway, hopefully just some early build issues. Our next 9 don't come until ~April so hoping those are better. Especially since some of them are much higher end ones.

On the plus side, that new 12" screen is great, the new stereo's are also great and the extra power on the 3.5 is actually noticeable. Nice truck to spend time in.

Except when they tell you it is out for that long and they have no loaners, or worse, just a Fusion Hybrid.

Body shop was dealing with the dealership... not me, but no. Ran out of rental then just gave up trying to get a loaner from the body shop. I have no where to be. Got the X1 if I really need to go somewhere

Alright truck bros. I know it was posted in this thread somewhere but what is a decent "tonto" cover as my wife would call it for the 5.5' box. Im not cheap. Also, I want the literal cheapest tonto cover for this thing that is useable. Lol.

Canvas rolling cover is what you want. Amazon is a surprisingly decent source of them. Or call around your favourite local shops. Amazon says under $300 is possible.

Give @tirebob a call at Urban X. He can get them in and I haven't found a better price. Mind you that was for a hard Tonneau cover, I am not sure how pricing works for the crappy soft ones. Honestly, Get the hard tri fold tonneau cover. you won't regret it.
