Looks like mine is built! Hopefully spray-in liner/shipping from KC doesn't take too long, from what I've seen its somewhere around 2-3 weeks to Calgary.
I work in service. Had a feeling it was yours. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I've been going back and forth for the last couple months, but finally decided to pull the trigger. Hoping it'll arrive in 3 months.
I can't even look my truck up on fordtracker anymore.
"Can't Retrieve This VIN"
Good thing I ordered early
I think they broke the link for the tracker and you need the VIN and ORDER number now. There was a link somewhere on the F150 forum on how to enter the URL w/ those 2 numbers
Tap, Rack, BANG!
Oh nice. I can harass you when I come in for my first scheduled service then. Unless that was you when I booked it. I keep mixing you and 88CRX up on the forum. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

@littledan not terribly concerned, noticed it wasn't working and check back every week or so.
I ask my friend practically every week for updates(if he hasn't already updated me) to remind him his truck is delayed too
Even more delays coming up, Dearborn plant is getting shutting down for two weeks and the KC plant is getting shut down for one.
Picked her up just before Easter. 2 months exactly - Ordered Jan 24 - Took keys Mar 24.
Pretty good so far - I like the utility of the box (already did a dump run & picked up a cabinet already with it), but I am missing the extra storage directly inside the old SUV - Was easy to just throw stuff behind the seat compared to now. It'll just take some adjustment is all & it is the wife's primary vehicle.

Nice whip! Love that colour. For the "missing" space, just lift the back seats up and you have all that space back. Until I had to roll with 2x car seats I never had the back seats down at all. Its amazing how much room these trucks have back there.

I have half my rear set upright quite often. Use that as a "trunk" and I love it. Even with the seats down, there's a shocking amount of space under them for stuff like booster cables, trailer hitches, tools etc.

I ended up getting the gator roll-up "tonto" cover as per the recommendation of ExtraFord. Also grabbed a Deezee rubber bed mat and that combo is working great. Keep the road grime and weather off of stuff in the bed and the mat keeps things from sliding around. With the remote tailgate down function it makes loading groceries super convenient.
Next up will be some seatback molle organizers and pouches to help organize PPE and such in the rear. Then i'll be jerry rigging (is that racist?) up a shovel mount in the bed using some square tubing and the boxlink anchors.

Colour is awesome, but man I didn't think it would show dirt/dust as bad as it does. It's really cool how much it shifts when it's in the light vs dark. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
We have 2 kids, and they're with us 75% of the time. One of which is still in a car seat, so like I said, just some adjusting from just tossing things over the rear seat, lol.
I need to find some bins for under the seats though to keep everything from rolling around.

My truck had a little trunk under the seats.
More of a pain than it was worth because folding the seats up no longer generated any space. An optional extra most people should just say no too. It was a flimsy POS anyway.

My truck was updated to April 28th in the system but the date has since been deleted and has no date.
13+ weeks since order was put in. I know there is nothing anyone can do but seeing everyone else's trucks show up makes me a little jelly.
Ouch. I'm on week 11, truck is built but has been waiting a week now to get shipped. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
love the color of Pauly Boys truck.
I got one work 2018 F150 Lariat with the 3.5 eco going into the shop for diagnostic. Truck has 64k kms and you will be cruising on the highway doing 120 km/hr and then the dash lights up like a Christmas tree and the truck loses all power and will slow down to 40-60km/hr and will stay that way until you turn it off and let it sit for awhile and then its fine until it decides to do it again either a short time later or a day or two later.
Really looking forward to finding out what the diagnostic is and how much it will cost to fix.
We had a company truck do this. A poorly sealed replacement windshield had a slight water drip on the electronic shit inside the dash. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Rofl. In the shop already!
Went out the other day and noticed little stains on the driveway. Wife dropped it off at the dealer this morning on her way home from night shift - Axle leak.
Imagine buying a Ford

So, looking for opinions on this.
I think I got a pretty good deal lined up for the next truck. '21 F150 Lariat, 502A, bunch of goodies. But the thing I wanted the most is the Hybrid package with the 7.2 generator.
But now that the timing is right, I am getting a little gun shy about the hybrid being that it is new tech for Ford in the F-150. I am getting crazy money for my '19 and it is making it REALLY hard to say no. It will have to be a factory order as apparently there are none out there with the options I wanted, and they are even willing to guarantee my trade in value to whenever the new truck arrives...
I dunno, the dealer seems kinda fishy, but, if I get it in writing I think I should be protected. Should I pull the trigger now on when seems to me to be untested tech, or should I wait awhile and see how these new power boost engines shake out?
