correct 230f would be 110c... which should be in the yellow zone

looking a number of threads, I'm concluding there is both a variance and consistency with these numbers..

I think the non max-tow gears (3.73) vs 3.55 vs 3.31 will vary, along with other variables such as: larger tires, lifts, leaving the diaper on, and any kind of blockage (i.e. bush guard) of the transmission cooler

now, the more I've read, the 2013/14's w/ Max tow seem to be in my range of 93-97, and for non-max tow more like 90-95.

all are well within the parameters of the specs, but I'm also thinking that after my rear main seal service, being that it is slightly higher, is maybe its down a little bit of fluid.

I may do a full flush (which is a pan drop and screen clean) sooner than later.

thanks! I haven't really had a chance to drive it much yet but initial thoughts are that steering is tighter than my 2014. I probably won't be towing with it this year so that will have to wait until next spring. its basically the whole reason why I got the 157" wheelbase. better stability while towing.

I'm mad jelly bro. I can't decide if I would want to the 157" or 145" WB. extra room in the box is good, and longer WB is good for towing, but I find a shorter truck easier to wiggle into some campsites without putting the front bumper too far into the shrubbery. Plus parking in the city when not towing too. Have no idea what I would pick. If things go good, I'll need to know in about nine or ten months.

The 157" is a big truck to live with, but I do like being able to fit a motorcycle in the bed with the gate closed

It is a long truck but I think it'll be fine with the type of driving I do. I rarely ever go downtown and am used to backing into parking stalls anyway.

the more I look at it, the more I love the thing.

basically, fully loaded Inrich style. haha. everything but adaptive cruise and park assist, which I didn't want anyway.

Bakflip Revolver X2, Husky X-Act floor mats and gatorback mud flaps are on the way. its getting 3M'ed as I type this and tint getting done this afternoon.

this has been an expensive 2 days

if you tow more than use the box, and use this as a daily driver... shortbox, crewcab baby

if you need to use the box to carry payload, that extra foot in front of the axel makes a world of difference, and add the HD package to boot, and you are close to 2600lbs payload in a half ton

what did a set come out to price wise?

I am really underwhelmed again by the F-150 headlights, and the silver is kinda bugging me. Was thinking about possibly swapping out for projectors, like this...

I can't tell if your truck has the LED bulbs or not, which come with the 502a package. Mine came with the LED's and I am very happy with them.

Those projectors would look great on your truck though.

675 shipped to my door from Amazon, and then about 2.5-3 hrs of my time. The nice thing is they include EVERYTHING. new slide pin boots, sliders for the pads (whatever they are called) and anti seize.

that's actually pretty good, especially when compared with CT, as they are about $600 just for the rotors and pads, never mind the extras.
